Abingdon Library oxford

Nice place, but I wish they'd sort out the carpet. How hard is it to stop it morphing into an immortal t-rex lol. Seriously though that carpet has claimed the lives of many great people. Oh and my wife.

they didnt want to serve me the triple cheeseburger. the service was terrible and they ran out of fries. :(

The staff are knowledgable and very friendly and don't mind sparing some time to answer queries or have a little chat. Having more time i read regularly and come here often, sometimes just to read a paper, do some photocopying or have a quick browse on the net. They have drop in pc's you can print from. It is a nice peaceful place to spend some time even during childrens story sessions!

The staff are very patient and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely. They have Children's story reading sessions on Saturdays as well as weekdays which is very useful for parents who usually have to go for work on weekdays.

Decent selection, lovely staff, good self-service options. Access to the full catalogue from other county libraries also very useful.

I LOVE this place. Spend many a morning with my little girl I don't think it has been improved in years but this adds to the passing of the torch from me to my little girl Lovely little nest to get lost in a book!!!

It's a great library that you can get almost every book. If they don't have the book you are looking for you can always reserve one. 👍📑📒📓📔
