I had a week revive spa here which included exfoliating salt scrub, massage and use of the facilities. Sandy was excellent applying the perfect massage pressure with a really nice technique. The massage cabins and changing rooms were amazing. The pool and the jacuzzi were good with comfortable lounge chairs.

Booked a sweedish couple massage and had an amazing experience with my partner at Amala spa this afternoon. On arrival we were met by our masseuse Justine and Preston Signed our waivers and was shown to our room. Beautiful room, set up really nicely. The atmosphere was lovely and calm with relaxing music playing in the background. My masseuse, Justine, was absolutely amazing. She applied just the right amount of pressure and her technique was on point. The hot towel experience was amazing. My partner equally enjoyed his massage too. Overall I really enjoyed my time here. Staff are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Definatly recommend this treatment. Will definitely be looking to return... soon

I’ve stayed at some pretty plush hotels but what counts is the service and friendliness of staff Hyatt Regency is a luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Birmingham combining retro chic style interiors with modern panache. I enjoyed immaculate service, a luxurious spa and gym and despite the formal setting, everyone is friendly and down-to-earth, which makes the experience feel extra special. The concierge deserve a special mention particularly Maverick, John, Dave and Craig for the extra effort they put in to make you feel welcome, they are sublimely courteous and greet you by name as you pass; their local knowledge is exemplary of the finest bars and restaurants  Birmingham has to offer. I have joined as a member of the Amala spa and gym, which has recently undergone an extensive makeover and upgrade pushing it above and beyond what most gyms and spas have of offer in central Birmingham. The first thing I noticed is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff particularly Jan the manager and Kinder the receptionist always smiling and go the extra mile to make your visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Facilities abound, but those that stand out include the Club & Spa which has an state-of-the art gym, a training room for a sauna, steam room and pool with Jacuzzi. There’s a shadowy, magazine-laden pre-treatment relaxation room and ample relaxation areas pool side. In conclusion a mercilessly resplendent and highly polished retro chic hotel overlooking ICC located in bustling Birmingham near The Mailbox and Bullring shopping complexes. Can definitely recommend this as my number One choice.

It was quite basic. One steam and one sauna room. One heated jacuzzi and pool. The massage was good, but the massage room was very basic, the floor made squeaking noise whenever the masseurs moved. The massage was good though.
