Customer service in here is really poor. Refused to dry clean an item I brought in because the stain was visible (thought cleaning was in the name..?!) and the time before that claimed they were unable to do a simple repair job. Grumpy uninterested and sarky responses each time. Go to midland down the road, far better

I had a coat dry cleaned here which I was happy with. I also got the hem of my dress put up. There is no change room so you cannot try the dress on in front of the dress maker which is annoying. I just had to guess and tell her how many cms I wanted off the hem. She did the hem in half a day and charged me about 14-15 pounds which is very reasonable. Overall I was happy with the service. The only issue I had was that I showed them my student ID when I came to pick up my items and not initially. They initially refused to give me the student discount. I had to argue with them for a while before they would give me the discount. Otherwise, I was happy and would come back here.

No fuss, very good quality dry-clean. Couldn't find a single fault. Thank you for making such a good job!

The customer service is appalling. The staff are uninterested and offhand. Curiously, they wear badges with a fun name or description on them. Was Papa Smurf’s main character trait grumpiness? The quality of the dry cleaning is OK, or I wouldn’t go at all.

When staffed properly they can be a really good fast service. I’ve been once on a Friday afternoon and they had left early. Another time there was a person covering who couldn’t dry clean.

I'm a weekly customer for the last 10 months. The new manager, Paul, is a great asset to the company; excellent customer service and very efficient. Be aware, I do notice slower turnaround times and general customer service takes a drop, too, when Paul is off and other staff take over in his absence.

I have recently took my winter coat to be cleaned as I wanted to refresh before cold weather will come. I was so happy with the results. Nice and professional cleaned. The manager of this shop is so helpful and professional.  Such a great positive attitude and best service I have received. I also find out that this shop apart from laundry, ironing and dry cleaning,  they do also repairs& alterations, rug and carpet clean, watch repairs service, key cutting, photo printing. Everything which is great. Will definitely come back. Will highly recommend this shop.

Johnsons was always fine in the past, I appreciated that they have reusable clothing bags. But the last time I brought clothes there I went in and the man behind the counter had his mask off so I wanted to get out of there ASAP. I picked up a week later (no text or call) and paid more than the value of the items that were cleaned. The comforter smelled odd, the stain on my sweater was baked in (I would have appreciated a call), and the dress had stretch marks from the hanger. I don't know if the dress is ruined, but I certainly cannot wear it as is. This downturn in service may all be temporary because of the pandemic, but I don't think I will be back to give them another chance.
