The park has something for everyone and is well maintained with free parking. In the recreation ground there is a great selection of equipment for all ages with a fenced off section for younger children. Some parts outside this area get very muddy. There are fabulous walks round the balancing pond where you can feed the geese and ducks. Food suitable for wild birds may be purchased at Pistachio's the café. There are clubs for football, cricket and tennis. There's also a basketball court and a skateboard park. When the maintenance staff are working, the public toilets are open.
