I bought my kitchen from Schmidt this year and I could not be happier! The quality feels solid and built to last. Ellie paid attention to detail and helped to create a really well thought out workable space. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, but we got there thanks also to Lemi and his team for a great installation job.

We couldn't be happier with our experience of working with Luc and his team at Schmidt. We didn't want an "off-the-shelf" kitchen - worktops and shelving on the walls are from other suppliers - and Luc bent over backwards to integrate our Schmidt units into our bigger plans and came up with great ideas at the design stage. He saw to it that any issues were resolved right away, and was very professional throughout the process. We have been using the kitchen for almost a year and it is as good as new - units are good quality and well designed for busy family that like to cook. So happy to have found them - highly recommended!

I ordered my kitchen from Schmidt. I got very good advice from the manager of the shop itself, Luc, he made sure to get me the best balance between quality and cost. I'm very happy with my kitchen and even got an appliance upgrade

After almost a year of research and talking to at least a million kitchen companies in and around Oxford, we found were impressed by the amazing patience Luc and his team at Schmidt Oxford dealt us with. Our multiple visits were never a cause of concern to them nor did they ever try to push us into making a decision quicker – on the contrary Luc always advised us to take more time and only go ahead if the end product is in fact what we want. One thing that impressed me was that our designer Luc actually took time to explain everything on the order form in clear terms rather than just skimming through it and he ensured that we understood what we were ordering and how the process would work. As the final decision was taken and the order placed, Luc and his team got working and an initial survey was arranged the very next day. On top of taking the final measurements, Luc ensured that we understood what works needed to be taken care of (electrics and plumbing) before the actual kitchen fitting starts. Fast forward to the installation week, a pre-fit survey was carried out by the fitters and the deliveries started coming in. The fitters turned up on time and kept in contact if they were going to be late. As the installation progressed, our excitement levels went up. I must say that their attention to detail was immaculate. The quality of workmanship is truly superb and the installation was perfect. From the colour of the units to the specialised lighting to the most wonderful worktop – it has all made such a difference and we love our new space Luc has created. We did however have an issue with our brand new fridge which was outside Luc’s control but as ever he tried his utmost to resolve the issue and to his credit we did finally get the new fridge delivered which included getting the fitters out again to install the fridge. On final completion of the project we can now look back and say we have a stunning open plan living space that is all to Luc’s credit. We had looked at other companies but they just did not come close with regards to design ideas not just for the kitchen area but the whole project. His input was invaluable to providing us with a wow factor. In summary if you want someone to take your ideas and wishes for how you want to live, to create an ambient living environment then I suggest you look no further. He will create your dreams but at all times have your wishes and thoughts at the centre of his attention.

Excellent service and design. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen from Schmidt Oxford - we had the most fantastic experience from design to delivery. Both Ellie and Luc are super helpful and friendly and they went above and beyond to make sure all details were correct.

The kitchen is great. High quality and worth the high price. However, customer care is awful. The lights they installed have been blinking for 3 months now and they are not responding to e-mails and calls.

We're now the proud owners of a Schmidt kitchen and we are delighted with it! During our search for the "perfect kitchen" we spent a long day with Luc at the Schmidt showroom talking through our ideas. Luc was very attentive and provided some really good guidance during our discussion, and the use of modelling software helped us to visualise our creation. Luc was also very helpful in making suggestions of what to include / remove from our designs in order to meet our budget. Following the order being placed, the kitchen arrived on time and was fitted by a builder that we had employed to work on our house extension project. We are really thrilled with the final product. Luc's colleague, Ellie was very response and helpful in the follow up conversations to sort out the fine details during the install. Overall, I would say that the build quality is excellent, the appliances are high end (we went for Siemens throughout) and the design has given us a lot of usable space. I would definitely recommend paying a visit to the showroom in Oxford to have a look at some of their designs and take advantage of the high level of consultation that Luc and Ellie offer. Richard

We're absolutely delighted with the kitchen that we bought from Schmidt. From start to finish the experience was extremely enjoyable. We spent several hours with Luc in the first place designing a kitchen, and actually placing a deposit and order, only for our plans to change (planning permission for an extension to house the kitchen), Luc accommodated our change of requirements extremely quickly and helped us redesign from scratch an entirely different kitchen to the one we first discussed! Luc was always available to discuss and make adjustments as and when we needed them. I spent many a panicked call discussing extraction and various little specific items, he was more than happy to assist. The kitchen itself arrived promptly, Luc came over to help talk our installers through the assembly of the kitchen and everything went very well. Our fitters said that it was one of the best quality kitchens they had fitted. We used Schmidt off the back of a recommendation from a friend, we were all set on a Howdens, or Wren or similar kitchen, we're so pleased that we went with Schmidt - we have recommended to several other friends and family since!
