Benchmark Kitchens & Interiors oxford

We used Benchmark Kitchens for our new kitchen and cannot recommend them highly enough. We went to several high street names but weren't happy with the generic designs produced. Despite our limited budget, Richard produced an exceptional kitchen for us - combining a couple of bespoke cupboards with off-the shelf items to really make it look beautiful and function perfectly for our needs. Benchmark kitchens were extremely prompt and easy to work with throughout the process and I cannot recommend the highly enough.

We had our kitchen fitted by Benchmark in June 2019 and are delighted with the result. Richard at Benchmark gave us an indicative quote on the day we walked into the showroom, refreshingly upfront and clear on pricing. He was equally helpful with suggestions on design when visiting our house and gave more options than any other supplier we’d dealt with. The entire refit was completed in 2 weeks, with everything going exactly as Richard had confidently told us it would. Paul, the kitchen fitter was brilliant, very experienced, hard working and nothing was too much trouble. All the tradesmen arrived promptly, did the work as planned and were polite, friendly and helpful. We were dreading having our kitchen replaced and expected problems and upheaval. Yes, we camped out in a makeshift kitchen in the conservatory surrounded by plastic crates full of our crockery, but the entire process was honestly stress free because we had confidence in the guys to deliver the end result we were looking for. Richard organised a great project team who did a fantastic job. A couple of very minor issues at the end were rectified quickly and professionally. I have no hesitation in recommending Benchmark kitchens to anyone. By the way, online searches also come up with BenchmarX, a different company.

We are very pleased with the kitchen units and appliances we bought from Benchmark for our new build project. They have a wide range of traditional and modern styles and colours to chose from, and the units are extremely well built and solid. Richard was very flexible and helpful with some changes and timing we had with our project. For a quality kitchen at a fair price I would recommend Benchmark.

We called to arrange a consultation to plan a new kitchen based on a plan prepared by an architect specifically for this purpose. We told told that Benchmark would not want to waste their time until we were further along in the process. Very disappointed by this. Our kitchen design will potentially influence the final build design. We decided to go elsewhere.

The process went surprisingly smoothly after we had a few headaches visiting other kitchen suppliers/fitters - we were a bit lost with it all at the time. We wanted a full kitchen refit, including a knock-through kitchen-diner. Richard came up with a lovely design that accommodated all of our needs. We really appreciated the project management that Benchmark supplied too, from arranging fitters, plasterers and rubbish disposal. A great job at a good price.

We asked Richard and the team to completely change our kitchen and are delighted with the results. Richard's creativity was a godsend and his suggestions when we couldn't make a decision were just what we needed. The installation team were all lovely. The whole process was 100% stress free - quite a feat!! I love the finished product, can't wait to cook for friends and family in there again!

We got 4 quotes for our kitchen refit and were pleasantly surprised that Benchmark were able to give a competitive quote. Glad we went with them due to the extra support with design that you get compared to other companies. We felt we were in safe hands, with the added bonus that Richard was able to source the whole lot-appliances, worktop and units for us and at quite short notice. Great email communication and support on hand to iron out any minor issues during the fit. LOVE the finished result!

I had a kitchen fitted by Benchmark Kitchens and Interiors 2.5 years ago. After getting multiple quotes and designs from different companies, it was clear that the design that Richard created was the best use of the space. He provided full and detailed costings and took into account my preferences for specific items which were then incorporated into the design. The kitchen was fitted on time (within 2 weeks, in my case) and at the pre-specified budget and there were no snagging issues afterwards. 2.5 years on and I still get compliments on just how well laid out and beautiful my kitchen is. With such a great sense of how best to use a space and such a great eye for design, I wish that Benchmark Kitchens and Interiors did bathrooms as well!
