Sorry, but always over priced. Not a good addition to Lee Longlands. It's better without it

Ordered two items of furniture here and found the staff friendly & helpful. Actual furniture would come from Lee Longlands we were told, which was fine as they are all one organisation. Order placed before the closing down sale and we were advised it would take a little while but it arrived a bit early which was good. One item was damaged and whilst apologetic & courteous, the delivery persons didn't inspire confidence: said they'd tell customer services to call us. A few days later we'd heard nothing so called them, expected a call back but again, we had to contact them. In fact I went physically into the store. To the salesman's credit, he called customer services there & then and all was in order to send us a replacement item, from stock. Good. 10 days or so later we had it and all is well. Happy with the furniture and the resolution. I read the Lee Longlands reviews with dread when first contacting customer services as it's all the same people. Many unhappy 1* reviews. Our experience was that the customer services folk weren't perfect but could have been worse. But my overall retail experience can't go above 3* because at the end of the day they (initially) sold us damaged goods.
