Great products at great prices. Carl was exceptionally helpful - went in to have a look and came away with the perfect furniture for my home. Very helpful, professional and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Worked within my budget to give me a lovely new sofa and rug. Would definitely recommend to others.

Sales staff were not competent in sales knowledge, rude to customers with the manager also requiring some sales and customer service skills before going on shop floor. Asked if the advertised above most sofas sign was correct as it was advertised as an extra 100 pound off sales price, sales person went to ask manager who told sales person it was due to a mark.. so challenged him on it asking where that was stated? And that would indicate most sofas were marked, his reply to me was that was what i was told by the manager so that is what it is. We left the store without purchasing said sofa that we were almost ready to bythere and then. Bad sales

if you want to wait up to 5 MONTHS for your sofa to be delivered then furniture village is the place for you. They arranged delivery 3 times, they cancelled two of those deliveries the morning of delivery I have wasted holiday at work. Wasted my time. I was left with no sofas in my house for 12 weeks. We ordered in January and only had them delivered last weekend in May. From reading other reviews I’m not the only person this has happened to. I’m not happy with the way we have been treated during this process.

This is the second Furniture Village we have been to in 2 months. Both times we were very impressed with the salesmen. They acknowledged us when we came in and waited for us to ask for help. Then they were very clear at explaining our options. We now have ordered a sofa off them, just a pity it's such a long wait before delivery. But I guess you cant have everything.

The Salesman we dealt with in Abingdon was first class, if this review was based on him alone they would get 5 stars. Sadly however, after completing the order the delays in getting our item made and sent to their warehouse is longer than what I consider acceptable, but what adds insult to the saga is poor communication with the warehouse team to arrange a delivery slot…. It’s like pulling teeth, no matter what time I call, and even pressing the correct option, I never get to speak to them, it’s always someone who can’t help me with promises of a call back which shock horror never happen. It’s a terrible shame that this store is unlikely to ever get my business again purely on the disgusting after sales service of their warehouse team.

Absolutely appalling service- ordered a sofa and dining set in June. Delay or no delay- there has been no communication whatsoever. We are constantly trying to ring the store- never get helpful advice nor take any responsibility. Guy in store that served us did not follow up with admin or finance as promised with the excuse that 'systems were down'. Put down the wrong delivery address to top it all off! Will never return to this place and will keenly advise others against buying with this particular store. The way they have messed us about is not worth any piece of furniture. They are very keen to get your money but after that they don't want to know.

Very helpful friendly staff,good choice of furniture and accessories. Sales manager very helpful and assisted us in purchase of dining furniture and tying delivery together with living room furniture order we previously made.Very pleased with service .

This company is an absolute shambles, NEVER order anything from them that you can't take away there and then. I ordered 2 sofas and a chair 3 months ago and it's STILL not delivered! Had a call at one point to say it was delayed. Then I finally get a call for delivery and so I get rid of the old sofas and wait for it....and then what turns up?? Only 1 chair!!! They haven't even got the sofas in yet!! WHY NOT??? And why contact me to arrange delivery to then only turn up with one item????? I shall never, EVER shop with them again and I STRONGLY SUPPEST YOU DON'T EITHER. So angry. :((((

Excellent customer service from Simon in the Abingdon branch. I found him friendly, helpful, not pushy, and provided regular updates on delivery status. I also managed to use the "Lower price guaranteed" option on one of the purchases, which was great. The products are of a very good quality, and are comfortable: I purchased a king size bed (Emily 5`0 Bedstead - soft grey and oak) & mattress (HG Luxe 2000 5`0), and a dining table (Sapporo Table and 6 Velvet Chairs Dining Set). I highly recommend.
