Lovely place, bar on the ground floor, the restaurant is upstairs. Super friendly staff, fast and swift. Not a very big place, but that's a big plus, you feel comfortable and relaxed. The restaurant that is. Carrot & horseradish soup + fish & chips, both excellent and all one needs for a late lunch after a few freezing December hours outside. The soup was delicious and hot, perfect winter starter. Best fish&chips I had north of the border. Not a fancy one, but enjoyable dish, always was. No offence to the other places though, I only visited few.

Great pub, good selection of cask ales, and the staff are great. The pub is a real looker too, nice oval bar and a great moulded ceiling. The oval bar means even when table service is the name of the game, the staff are still able to manage the pub well. Great spot

Excellent. Went on my own for a drink before home, staff masked up and helpful as always, directed me to check in qr code. Brilliant Orkney stout on tap and a wee malt of the moment to go with it. Top pub.
