A Cut Above oxford

Quality varies hugely between barbers. I came here a few weeks ago and have been eagerly waiting for my hair to grow out as it was shaved too high at the back, friends admitted it looked weird and also too high over the ears. The cut was as bad as I have ever had. The time before this was better but the barber shaved too high at the side in one section leaving it uneven. The clippers and scissors also tug at the hair as they seem to be blunt and the cutting area and implements didn't look like they get cleaned very often.

Reducing from 5 to 1 stars since they started taking appointments and u can't rely on just walking in and getting a haircut any more. Been going here all my adult life guess I will have to find somewhere new.

Took my step-son here for a hair cut before the beginning of term. The barber listened to exactly what he wanted and he was very pleased with the results. Great value for money and very friendly staff. Will be coming back.

Don't think I have had a friendlier reception or enjoyed such a high end environment from a barber. Certainly not the cheapest hair cut in the area but certainly worth every penny spent.
