5/ 5

I've been coming here for cuts and colours for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Professional and friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Steve's experience means I always get something that suits me and I've never left unhappy with the results. Wholly recommend if you want an excellent hairdresser.

I’ve been coming to sinclair’s for the past 2 and a bit years to get my hair cut & coloured. I love coming here, the atmosphere is great and I'm yet to meet a member of staff who isn't friendly. Thanks again! Highly recommended 😘

1/ 5

I visited Sinclair's for highlights and a blow dry - I have to say that the service and customer care has been awful from start to finish. The time in the salon was unpleasant - the hairdresser doing my hair repeatedly burnt my scalp, I was very obviously uncomfortable and pulling away from the heat but this was not acknowledged nor apology offered. My hair was completely flat after the finished "blow dry" and I had to restyle it before going to the event I'd booked the blow dry for in the first place! When I got home and saw my hair properly, I felt disappointed enough to contact the salon to voice how bad it was. The reply looked like a copy and paste response that stated it was "policy" not to address the issue if it was not raised in the salon (note this policy is nowhere on the website, nor in any confirmation emails). I replied to this, but received no further response until I prompted them - only to receive a rather short, rude email response from the director. The website mentions that they are so confident in their service that they offer a "100% guarantee" that they will address any issues that arise. Evidently this is just sales patter to attempt to impress potential customers - the customer service here is awful. A waste of money. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere!

Should have walked out when I was accused of being late...arrived 5min early to my 3pm appointment.

Should have walked out when I was accused of being late...arrived 5min early to my 3pm appointment. Stated that no my appointment was 3pm. Owner then said ''oh that's because the girls are hopeless, anyway I can't now cut your hair. You can see one of the others''. Stylist didn't introduce herself, reasonable hairwash though, cut was awful she didn't understand my quite specific instructions and was not steady with the clippers and scissors at all. Not sure if this was they don't have many men come in. She dabbed with the clippers more than using them like a skilled worker. Was then charged the higher price. Ended up going to the barbers three doors down to fix the cut. Did return to complain and show the booking card and was met with blank generic responses. Will not return and would not recommend at all!

5/ 5

I notice some adverse comments re this Salon. I was shocked by these as I have been a customer here at Sinclair for nearly 20 years. I return every week as I am met by caring attentive staff. I am treated with respect and enjoy the whole hairdressing experience. I suspect that the adverse comments are posted by a person or persons making mischief and hope that they will be treated with the contempt they deserve Molly Morris MBE
