The Curry Leaf Cafe journey began in early 2013, with a curry-obsessed Scottish journalist and an Indian chef spending their evenings discussing what the perfect Indian meal would be like if they were in charge of the menu, decor and drinks list. Twelve months later, they opened their first Curry Leaf Cafe in the Brighton’s vibrant Lanes district, serving up traditional South Indian food alongside a large range of specially paired craft beers in a colourful, laid-back dining space decked out with exposed brick walls, contemporary street art and vintage Indian design touches
