Mark of respect for our brave soldiers of all ages rest in peace

Weather not good when we visited, would be lovely place to sit in on warmer days .

Very warm gardens with group of ducks living in the garden near the river. Central near the central train and bus station. For my opinion, York is beautiful town with a lot of history. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

Lovely little garden situated just over the river from York centre. Theres a nice view of the Minster and other historic buildings on the York skyline. Well worth a visit and just a short walk from the railway station.

A lovely setting for the remembrance service

Great place, close to the river ideal for a sit and relax. Close to the coach pick up point. Beautifully kept.

Visited on 25 September while at Newcastle university Open Day. Beautiful flowerbeds and bronze memorial with dedication - worth seeing.

a nice place to sit and have lunch or feed the friendly local geese

Small garden which is decent to chill, have a picnic, or maybe eat your lunch if you're in the city. Not much there, but close to lots of other stuff.
