It’s very easy to miss this gem among the other shops on Turl Street but make sure to pay the shop a visit if you are on a book hunt! It’s beautifully kept and organised, and though the fiction book choice was a bit limited at the time, it had some real bargains, like most of the Harry Potter books for 2-3 pounds. They also had an impressive range of textbooks on History Art and Literature and some of the most adorable birthday cards I have ever seen (on the right to the entrance). The shop itself is beautiful on the inside and staff is really nice - you’ll be able to find great books and cards and do some good in the process (they accept cash and card)

Ok for some books but children’s books are usually inaccessible behind boxes. St Clement’s is nearby and much better.

A hidden gem. Go to the basement for books on linguistics or in different languages.
