I’m disappointed to see all of these bad reviews. I’d like to introduce myself, I am Joelene Cockcroft RFHP SAC Dip OA Dip. I am based at the Oxford clinic permanently, I joined the team at the end of November. I really hope that between Lisa (locum Podiatrist) and myself, that we can improve things. Please, if you do not want to buy a package or orthotics then by all means, say no. Do not let anyone pressure you into buying what you DO NOT want. The store has had a complete overall and we truly hope that we can make your experience a pleasant one. I’m there on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Lisa is very experienced and brilliant at her job. She has been a podiatrist for many years and has vast international experience. I’m hope to see some of you that were let down to return. Best regards Jo.

Wow after reading these reviews I certainly didn't expect a great experience and was unsure whether to actually go. However, Lisa, the podiatrist was fabulous, she certainly knows her stuff and I can walk without pain again. Thank you Lisa. I would recommend her and that doesn't come lightly

Leaving 1 star as I can't leave 0 star coz this place doesn't deserve any stars. I never met a chiropodist like that extremely horrible rude lady. She pushed me to buy their packages and said to me that your legs will be cut off if you don't treat your feet regularly. In my last 20 years of my life I visited so many chiropodists nobody said this kind of horrible things to me. I'm very much upset and offended. I genuinely think that she said to me these horrible things just for her commission. I will never recommend any person in this place. It's a disgrace !!!

Good day, to anyone who has read the negative reviews and is considering not using Shuropody in Oxford. I have been working there for about 9 months as a Foot hygienist, known professionally as a Foot Health Practitioner. I would like to invite the people who have been let down to return to us and give me the opportunity to make it up to you. I have a passion for treating feet. I have a very good repertoire with the patients that I have taken over from the previous clinicians. If you’re doubtful, come in for a free foot assessment and see what you think. But I guarantee you that you will always return to me. I am not a podiatrist, I’m a foot hygienist, so I cannot assist with biomechanics or custom made orthotics. But I am really passionate about helping people who have problematic feet, I can help you to get your feet more aesthetically pleasing. I absolutely love my job. I will restore your faith in our company. I’m truly sorry to anyone who has had a bad experience at Shuropody. I’m there to stay and I will do everything in my power not to disappoint my patients.

How unfortunate that I can't leave a review with zero stars, as this is what this place really deserves. I arrived for my 2pm appointment 10 minutes early and tell the man behind the counter that I'm here. He says "okay". He is with another person on the shop floor. It goes past 2pm, so I tell someone else that I'm here and waiting for my 2pm appointment. She tells me "that appointment was cancelled yesterday". She then goes on to say that my appointment had been cancelled and that they had tried to leave a message the day before but "my phone was engaged". When I asked why they didn't try again, as I explained it is very unusual for a mobile phone to be engaged without it going to voicemail, I was told that "we just go through the list of people to be called and that's it. We then get on with the rest of our day." They don't then attempt to make contact with customers who they couldn't the first time. No apology. When I said that they obviously don't care about their customers, she left me at the front desk, no explanation, and returns with another member of staff, I assume this person was a manager, as there was no explanation of who this person was. She then repeats to me the same thing. I explain to them that their customers' time is valuable, and if someone can't be reached, they should try again and, at the very least, leave a message. I explained to them that perhaps they could do this in the future. (I am somewhat doubtful that they tried to phone me, I'm not often on my mobile phone and I do have voicemail and my phone is never off.) I just couldn't believe that they wouldn't try a bit harder to make contact with someone especially if *they* are the ones doing the cancelling. It was a huge effort for me to make this appointment, I have a lot on my plate at the moment. I get that appointments get cancelled sometimes. What really p1ssed me off was the lethargy in trying to contact me and the totally unapologetic explanation when I got there. The lady offered to re-schedule my appointment, I said no thanks because I will never be a customer here again. ****Avoid this place if you value your time.****
