Courtney pianos restored our 1896 Irmler piano to perfection. A first class restoration. It went away looking grubby, dirty and broken and came back sparkling. The French polish job was particularly good. Very happy indeed.

We contacted Courtney Pianos for advice on our daughter's baby grand piano that had been damaged by water. We thought that it would not be worth restoring. How wrong we were. David and his team inspect the piano, collected it and started work. We now have a beautifully restored piano that plays perfectly. At first contact this company and the owner/manager appeared to be pleasant and professional. He gave us the big sell on their services and abilities and directed us to his website for restoration details of our grand piano. That was where the honest communication and professionalism ended in our experience. For any future customers I STRONGLY advise you to get everything in writing from the outset, make sure you familiarise yourself with consumer law and contracts under 2013 regs. Ensure you jump straight on them if they do not do as they claim on their own website. And If you can’t do that... stay well away until you have and can. Look for their complaints policy... it doesn’t exist! Customer service is ok as long as you never disagree with the man running this business And you know as much as they do about pianos. If not, practice caution.
