I purchased a house through La Residence last October. Communications were very good and I regularly had phone calls and emails so was happy up to the point of the sale. Once I had paid the fees, the service ended. For whatever reason, known only to the vendors, they provided EDF (electricity supplier) & SAUR (water company) with an address for me which was 200 miles away from my correct address. This caused extreme problems as the utilities refused to speak to me as I could not confirm the details they had been provided with. The result was that the water supply was cut off and there no supply for over 2 months. I contacted La Residence who said they could not help as they no longer had any contact details for the vendors, neither did they offer to help with contacting the utilities. If you are seeking after sales service, you should consider the services offered by alternative other Immobiliers.

We listed our property here in Normandy early 2017 The details and photos that La Residence put on their web site were great. We had a number of viewings, Dominic provided good feed back, and was always available to give us advice. Once our property was sold, we received constant updates and the process was made easy by Stephen. They always answered their phones, which was invaluable when you are selling a property. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone wishing to sell property in France. A big thank you to all the team at La Residence! Peter & Lyn

We were so lucky to find La Residence when buying our first French home. We were rather naive with laws and red tape and this could have been a nightmare without the help they gave us. Regardless whether it was translating documents, advise about laws, liaising with agents or help with who/where/when/why, they were fantastic! Either via phone call or email, they were straight away more than happy to offer help and advise without delay. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy abroad, nothing was too much effort, they all went above and beyond to make sure our dream came true; thanks guys you're amazing!

The prospect of buying a property abroad for the first time was a little daunting. Without a full grasp of the language, never mind the vagaries of the French market and legal system, we didn't really know what we were letting ourselves in for. However, the team at La Residence made everything clear and 'held our hands' throughout. They couldn't have been more helpful and the result was a huge success. We are delighted with the house the house they helped us find and everything went without a hitch. If you are considering buying in France, I recommend you talk to these guys first!

We just thought we’d like to send you Christmas Greetings from our new home in France with our thanks again for making the move so seamless and efficient ! We’re loving the house, loving the village, loving the region and making our way integrating with the local French people. We are coming to terms with the French love of paperwork, and we’re so grateful that you protected us from the majority of this in the process of buying the house.

Kind, caring and professional are three words to sum up the La Residence team. Dominic couldn’t have done more to support us through to a successful completion of our new home in France, whilst Rebecca matched us with properties based on our wish list perfectly. She ensured we were provided with details as soon as they were available and managed our viewings to ensure best use of our time. Dominic then effectively held our hand throughout the whole buying process and the help and support didn’t end upon completion. We really can’t recommend La Residence highly enough.
