NOPS oxford

I had a great experience with NOPS over two years renting in Oxford. They were always there when something needed maintenance in the flat and were highly responsive. They're a very fair letting agency, and I had absolutely no problems with them over two years. I would recommend letting with NOPS. Maybe other reviewers ought to remember that it always helps to be polite and respectful to people who are just doing their job... I never ran into any difficulties at all, and had an actively positive experience.

The team at NOPS have been great during my tenancy - I had a few teething troubles with my flat to begin with, but they were really fast and efficient in sorting things out, and if they couldn't, they gave clear communications as to when they would. NOPS have been very efficient and professional with some issues that came up with our new student property. Hannah in particular was incredibly helpful. I am yet to move in to the property, but so far so good!

The NOPS team are always there for you and help whenever needed. They obtain good tenants and rent levels and keep you informed throughout the whole of the let. I would highly recommend.

I have been for the last 2 years living on the 'Cowley Road' and must say we found the experience to be of no trouble. Problems with utility providers were sorted out on our behalf by the people at North Oxford Property Services, and although the house was not in the best condition, we knew this because of the affordable rent. We made the mistake of not going through the inventory at the start, but despite this found almost nothing was taken from our deposit.

I am a Landlord with 3 apartments in Cowley. These have all been managed by NOPS for around 6 years answer next year. NOPS have been great at letting my apartments, and providing a very professional service. Special thanks to Beth in Accounts who deals with my accounts and for sorting out problems with the property management company who are a nightmare to deal with.

Excellent, efficient and friendly customer service. Hannah, the agent, had gone the extra mile to accommodate our requests for renting a property. She was quick in her respone and professional. I would definitely recommend NOPS.

I have been very impressed with the Nops team who rented a flat for us. They found a tenant quickly Every communication we had with then was dealt with professionalism and effectiveness. All the members of the team were also always very polite and keen to help with anything we asked of them. Very pleased with the service over all.

I can't say we weren't warned against NOPS. Six months ago some friends and I were (desperately) searching for a new house. In our search for new housemates, we met a wise old Oxford grad student, who told us: "there is one rule of renting in Oxford: you don't *ever* rent with NOPS." Ha! we thought, that's some pretty ridiculous exaggeration. And look how cheap the house is, anyway! It looks nice. Let's just go for it. After all, we were desperate... It wasn't the grimy kitchen (promised to be renovated in our viewing) that made me write this review. It wasn't the bathroom whose paint peels off due to moisture, or the double glazed windows with moisture *inside* to make it uncleanably dirty, which blocks the sunlight. No, those were small things. It wasn't the ~3 weeks without a functioning washing machine, or the ~5 months it took them to fix the broken hoover, or the time the police battered down our door and made us sit whilst they searched the house (according to the warrant it was because of some dodgy guy who I think was a previous tenant or contractor). It wasn't even the time our bedroom windows were blocked for _6 weeks_ because they had put up scaffolding (one month late) to fix the leaky roof, or for all six weeks it just stood there, no work being done (work just started today). No. I am writing review because, tonight, I am going to have to scrape clean the dog poo out of the carpet. Poo that the scaffolding contractors brought in after stepping on it outside, and then point blank denied. I'll have to clean each shoeprint. ***************** Caveat: the people working at NOPS are actually nice and try to help us, Billy especially was very nice and helpful. I just get the impression the management or system or something is just broken.

This estate agent honestly nearly broke me as a human being. The story is long so im going to shorten it. At the start of the pandemic me and my flatmate moved out and we kept getting bills of THOUSANDS for our electric in the flat so we appealed. This company then barged me with messages demanding I pay when I tried to query why it was so much ie was someone using our electric I continuously asked for box reads with no help whatsoever. Anyways I won the battle of Scottish power and actually got given back money but only after months of being harassed during my final year when I already struggle with severe anxiety. They were nasty and cruel and treated me like a bad human when we were the cleanest tenants they had ever had (I saw into other flats while living there and they looked disheveled) and the handy man that came over once mentioned this is the cleanest student property he had ever seen. So after this trauma of nearly being black listed and in 3,000 debt upon leaving the property they charged us hundreds of pounds for cleaning and we were like we want evidence as we both spent hours cleaning and they sent pictures of dust ON THE LIGHT BULBS... can you imagine being this desperate for money. They didn't let us end our tenancy early (ended end of September but we had moved out at the beginning or MARCH). Sadly the company is full of bullies who pray on students to fill their own pockets while causing detrimental stress to others. Especially Debbie, Janice and Max. Its taken me a while to write this review as I didn't know how to put my experience into words but I hope this helps others choose more responsible letting agents in Oxford.
