Whilst the salon & staff are nice enough, and they do the job well & efficiently. I now understand why it is quiet as a business in this salon. I’d phoned behind for price to have pedicure & manicure with gel polish. I was quoted £56 which seemed in line with their competitors, however what they fail to tell you is the cost of their “hidden charges” - such as charging to remove any residue of old polish!! IMO that’s an underhand practice and for that reason I wouldn’t go again; as I believe honesty is the best policy when dealing with customers. No other nail salons charge to remove old polish IF you’re having nails redone with gel, thus explaining when Amy’s is so quiet compared to other nails salon businesses in the local area.
