Not sure of the service now as I’m no longer a registered patient, however it provided me with fantastic service when I was registered a couple of years ago. I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe and the staff were friendly. The surgery’s decor is very calm and comforting, unlike other surgeries which may trigger anxiety/nervousness. Also, Dr. Laura was a gem, as was another doctor (can’t remember his name though, sorry).
Terrible experience with this surgery. After days of frustratingly trying to get an appointment, Getting fobbed of by young clueless receptionists. I ask for Dr appointment and the book me in with a nurse and don't even tell me not a dr! Then the nurse says cant help me as I need to see a Dr!! I go to reception told I have to try again tomorrow going online at 6am, And guess what when I do only Nurse appointments. They never have doctors on its a joke.
Worst surgery you can go to. Rude reception staff. 6am online booking times on badly maintained system. I went in for a check after having cold like symptoms for 6 months! Was told to do Steam inhilations and left. Private drs have told me it's much more serious. Don't put your health in these baboons hands.
The surgery only offers GP appointments on the day (if you are lucky) by getting up at 6am to book online or phoning after 8. For non-urgent issues ,you can't get an appointment in advance at all, so the service obviously caters mainly for unemployed people or mothers at home. It is difficult at work to take the day off without a few days notice. Because of this, I am not happy at all with this surgery.
Terrible! E consult ignored for my 4 old boy. Extremely hard to get an appointment When you do get an appointment you will get to see either a nurse or a doctor who has to look up their text books for a diagnosis or prescribe medication. The practice nurse is actually more knowledgeable than the doctors at this surgery. Also, you will never see the same doctor twice at this place. They are all locum doctors. Personally, I can't wait to leave but have been unable to find an alternative taking on new patients.
Dr Hall is an absolute angel, one of the most helpful people I have ever spoken to. Dr O’Leary was also the sweetest and most helpful medical professionals i’ve ever spoken to as well! Sometimes speaking to other members of staff can be a bit difficult, and it can be hard to get an appointment but they all try their best and honestly? Extremely grateful for all of them.
Moved from Wish Surgery! Best thing i did..amazing friendly, patient, welcoming staff!! Nothing too mucH trouble. All docs seem really interested in their patients and get things moving!Highly
I've been with this surgery just over a year or so and there absolutely amazing, lovely reception staff and all GP's are first rate! The best doctors surgery in Brighton would be an understatement. Thank you BHWC you help me so much.
The actual doctors here are fantastic. My complaint is that nowadays it’s hard to book an actual appointment for a planned time- and no chance of having the same doctor consistently to build up a relationship. You have to wait for a call back whenever it suits them- which I understand, but as someone who sleeps a lot during the day due to chronic illness and sometimes misses calls, it would make far more sense on both ends to just plan a time.
