Bedminster Family Practice bristol

This practice is brilliant. It is extremely busy but they to try their best to get you an appointment with your regular doctor and sort out late requests for prescriptions. The staff are lovely and so helpful and caring. Dr Nearney is absolutely amazing, he’s the best doctor I have even seen, he’s had a lovely calm and kind nature. He will try everything to get your problems sorted. This practice is not always appreciated by some of their patients which is such a shame as they really do try and help everyone under very difficult pressure.

Always have appointments, clean, professional staff and pharmacy attached. Good location. The nhs are under a lot of strain and I really appreciate the good work they do here.

You can never get an appointment here; you have to phone at 8:30 on the day to try to get an appointment for that day only and they won't allow you to book in advance for a non urgent appointment.

my 10weeks old baby is vomitting his milk alot. i requested an emergency appointment n they said it is not an emergency. when this doctor has her own baby i hope she waits for a week to be seen because it is not an emergency.

Receptionist was very rude, I walked in and was told to ware a mask when I was just about to do so anyway, I had to take off my motorcycle helmet first. When I asked her why she was not warning one she told me that she didn't have to because she was behind a screen. I asked her if she thought the scene would stop her infecting everyone if she had covid (it is not a big screen at all and has many openings in it) she said "probably not", I would say defiantly not! One in three people show no symptoms so there is a good chance she will be passing it on to vulnerable people if she is asymptotic but she just shrugged her shoulders and looked at me like I was a trouble maker. She was also right next to a nurse that was not wearing her mask properly either, only covering her mouth not nose. When I walked in I was the only person in the waiting room so me taking all of 5-6 seconds to put my mask on would not put anyone else at risk, unlike her!

Very angry. They made mistake twice with my babies appointment. I went threw the traffic with crying 4m baby to hear that was a mistake and i need to go back in 4 hours. Lady said that I'm rude. Well would be nice to hear sorry. I'm angry mother.

I haven't been back there long, but I've had a good experience with the doctor I've seen. He's been really thorough and conscientious.

Staff here incredibly helpful. The doctor’s and nurses I have seen have always been kind, dedicated, supportive and professional despite the pressures they are working under. Thank you 🙏
