Went in for a doctor’s appointment with Raj and he answered his phone whilst I was talking to him. Would have understood if it was urgent about his children or a patient. He sat there chatting about fixing his hot tub and how he wanted it heated up for 2pm whilst I just sat there. Walked out and changed surgery.

I've attended here for a number of years. The two doctors (father and son) both hand pick their patients to give themselves minimum work. They actively avoid patients and getting them to do anything that isn't a simple perscription will be hard at best. This surgery has been like this for a long time and both doctors are held in extremely low regard by other local health professionals. Avoid unless you just want a sick note which will cost you £20).

First appointment with the surgery with nurse Kirby who is an absolute delight to talk to, she put me at ease and was so lovely and bubbly. She also told me of their counseling service and arranged my prescription as well as arrange for bloods and other things. I couldn't have asked for a better service. Highly recommend.

Quite unorganised, takes a few days and many trips to get things done usually but it gets done in the end. Some staff are polite and helpful, while some are rude and blame you for mistakes made purely by them or the City Surgery (like loosing my blood test which never got resolved or redone).

WORST service I've ever received in my life. Misinformation, different receptionist tell you different things and give you no hope of seeing a doctor. Avoid at all cost!

Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Lovely receptionist, both times I’ve called in I’ve gotten an appointment the next day. The doctors are lovely and really attentive, the problems I’ve had have been addressed and sorted really quickly, and I’ve left the appointments feeling really happy. The only slight issue I had is that prescriptions can only be picked up between 11-1130 - but this is understandable with covid, and you can just ask for them to be sent to another pharmacy to collect. Very happy, especially compared to my last surgery!

Really not a good GP, im a 24 year old man went to this GP to discuss suicidal thoughts and major depression which was affecting my work. It was marked down as a "mild depressive episode" despite telling my GP i was on the verge of killing myself. I was referred to therapy (a six month wait) and was told to go on my way. After a couple of months my depression got worse and i was unable to cope with even going to the GP or pharmacy again and stopped taking my medicine. Months and months later, ive had no check up call to see if im even still alive, im in the process of changing GP. Avoid this one like the plague.

One of the receptionists is really mean and made me feel awful with her tone of voice when I was already anxious about getting the appointment. Other than that the doctors and nurses are nice and friendly.

Never had any issues here. Most of my dealings have been during covid, in which I spoke to the GP on the phone and sent photos of an infection via email, instead of a face to face appointment. This process was efficient and he wrote me a prescription the next day. I've also had to visit the nurse, who was extremely kind and put me at ease. The young receptionist is always pleasant on the phone, too. Overall 5 stars.
