I have recently joined this Practice and have been very impressed with the service I have received. The online appointments and prescriptions website is very useful. The Recepton staff are very friendly and helpful. The doctors I have met have gone out their way to solve my problems. I would highly recommend this Medical Practice.

Friendly and helpful staff. Never had a problem getting an appointment. The building is clean and modern. One thing however is that my appointments would be with different GPs each time. Not a problem for me personally but may be for some.

Friendly, helpful staff. Waiting list for appointments is usually 4-5 days. However, I've always found my issues can be resolved by telephone appointment. I've also had success with calling in the morning and getting lucky with cancellations

I do not give them 1*. Do not register with this practice Both the practice manager and the receptionists verbally abuse you. They think that domestic violence is funny and that it is acceptable to be xenophobic. They put the calls onto loud speaker so that means that anyone that is in the practice can hear the calls. They have no respect for privacy. They do not understand what confidentiality means. I was speaking to the practice manager and she had me on speakerphone and I could hear the other receptionists in the background laughing at what I was saying and telling each other that I was making a fuss over nothing when it comes to my violent ex husband finding me and that he is better off without me. They should not be allowed to be in practice. They are vile. Do not trust them.

As someone who also works for the NHS I find elements of this practice truly disappointing. It’s hard to tell whether it is one receptionist or more who I have spoken to when they have answered the phone but it is a frequent issue which makes me think it’s more than one person. You are cut off mid query and made to feel an idiot or a nuisance when you call you to asking something. I feel on edge when I know I have to phone and sometimes I avoid it as I know the attitude I will be met with. There is no warmth or care when you call. Most of the GP’s I have dealt with have been helpful but the attitudes I have been met with when calling have been at times quite upsetting. On a couple of occasions I have been calling due to an error which they have made but would not admit and when they finally did i was still met with hostility and a poor attitude. The phone is often not answered throughout the day. The overall experience and service provided is really marred due to the attitudes of those who answer the phone except for one gentleman who has always been helpful and pleasant but unfortunately I haven’t always got him when I call

3/ 5

When I phoned their surgery today to speak to a doctor, the receptionist asked me what it was about, then told me a Dr. Crothers will phone me back? When I asked politely how they spelt Dr. Crothers name as I was writing down when they would call me back, the female receptionist cheekily shouted to me through the phone how it was spelt, she then hung up on me before I could ask about anything else. It's not what I was expecting on a Monday morning, phoning in to ask a doctor about a medical problem I had. This upset me. Receptionists are supposed to be friendly all the time to the patients at their Medical Practice and Surgery. They also should ask, if there's anything else I can do for you, not just hang up the phone! I noticed in your question section on Google Maps, somebody asked: When we get letters and texts from our GP to make an appointment to see a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse to review our conditions. Can a medication review be done over the phone? Is this possible, if they don't want us to come into the surgery?
