We have had a number of original windows replaced on an Edwardian house. It was very important to us that we needed to maintain the period feel and detailing wherever possible. We are delighted in the results and were extremely happy with the speed and professionalism of the installers. Very tidy; everything was cleaned up as they went along and there was sone VERY messy work with 100 year old plaster! Would have no hesitation in recommending

We have recently had our conservatory roof replaced with a superlite roof system, we are very happy with the result. The fitters were very hard working, friendly and efficient. The job was completed on time. All waste removed from site. We would recommend. Thank you.

Don’t use this company! They simply cannot do customer service! My mum ordered the windows and was told they would be installed 4 months later. I had to call and book the surveyor as they had forgot. Then the install date is approaching and they call and say it was going to now be October instead of July. Then October comes and again I had to call at the end of October to see where they are to be told oh we haven’t got you booked in. After chasing again multiple times after call backs that were never done they scheduled it for a Monday in November. The installers turned up and said oh we don’t have your front door it will be in on Thursday. The installers were great and installed all they had but they had glass missing no front door and half of the handles were white and half are chrome. Fast forward nearly 8 weeks and again I’m still chasing them as they never keep you up to date or get in touch it will always be you chasing to be told it’s not their problem it’s the manufacturer's. Don’t believe the reviews where they say to speak to me Abrams as he has never spoken to me or even replied to my complaint they just pass it on to someone with no control. So I have windows with incorrect handles and a front door still not done or installed 6 months after the original date and they still can’t give me a date or even bother to keep in contact. Terrible customer service I would recommend everyone avoid! I wouldn’t normally take the time to leave a review good or bad but this company is atrocious.

We were apprehensive about getting our windows replaced because we had quite a 'difficult' house, pebble dashed, with the pebble dashing going right into the window recesses. We couldn't see how the windows could be removed without damaging it. We used Elmhurst twice, firstly to replace an attic window - to see what the quality was like, and then when we were sure we were happy with that, to replace all 13 other windows and a front door. This also involved encapsulating a stained glass window by the front door. There were some delays in starting the work, but this was because the manufacturer was extremely busy (everybody did their homes up during Covid), however Elmhurst did keep us informed of this. The salesperson, Diane was friendly, extremely competent and Not Pushy which was a big plus as far as we were concerned. The crew who fitted the windows were extremely professional, very mindful of the risk of damaging the pebbledash, and were extraordinarily careful - they were able to take the windows out with virtually no damage to the pebbledash, and on the very few occasions where small bits of pebbledash came off, they stippled the concrete to make it look the same, and even pressed pebbledash gravel from around the house into the frame so it was indistinguishable. They also left absolutely NO mess, inside or out. The house is a semi with a small stained-glass window next to the front door. We were concerned that if we just replaced this with plain glass, it would be obvious because of the matching panel in the house next door. They said they could encapsulate this, and this was sent away to specialist who does this work, encasing the stained glass panel with its leadwork into a double glazed unit. This takes a little time and was fitted after the rest of the windows, but it is an outstanding piece of work. We are expecting to sell this house at some point and emigrate, so it was really, really important to us that they did a good job and that a future buyer would not be able to chip away at the house value because of it. They did an outstanding job.

Richard was a pleasure to deal with. Despite pressures with covid he kept us up to date and informed. His building team were excellent, clean, prompt and professional. Quality of work and materials faultless. We had a new porch, new patio window and kitchen doors/window as well as replacement fascia. Will definitely be using Elmhurst in the future

This is the second time I have used Elmhurst Windows. After doing an excellent job of replacing my windows I decided to use them to install a new roofline. The guys did a great job . It took nearly a full day, a big job. Some of the guys have worked for this company for 30 years or more. I think that says a lot for its integrity. I will use Elmhurst again soon because I want a new door. It’s also great to be able to use a local company. Thank you Elmhurst for a first class job.
