Staff were amazing. From the Consultants right through to domestic staff, all were so Professional, courteous & caring yet respectful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The actual ward was spotless and the rooms & en-suite were very clean tidy and comfortable. I would definately recommend this hospital.

2/ 5

Parking Facilities, although plentiful, have failed to accommodate wheelchair bound patients (who hold Disablled Parking Badges), being able to park within reasonable distance of their intended visiting department, without them incurring ridiculously obscene parking charges - parking over 90 mins = £10. How are people expected to know how long their appt is going to take, but still require nearby easy access from Car Park to Ward. The hospital boasts 2000 + parking spaces and very few of them close to many of the departments where out-patients have to visit - other than Drop Off Points. The Rating of the Hospital at 2 is purely and simply due to the incredibly badly thought out parking facilities and the outrageous costs that some of them can incur. Initially spent over 45 mins trying to locate a empty Disabled Parking Bay - failure to obtain one could have resulted in the cancellation of the appt and therefore cancellation of the pending operation for the patient - seems like an attitude of 'YOU NEED THE PARKING - YOU PAY FOR IT !!!

Had jaw surgery at the Sefton Suite. Jordan and his team on the ward were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Martin Dodd, the Maxillo Facial Surgeon was excellent. He explained everything clearly and in detail and has a really nice friendly manner. The room was very clean and comfortable.
