I have worked for Cygnet Blackheath for over three years, and can honestly say the level of care off

5/ 5

I have worked for Cygnet Blackheath for over three years, and can honestly say the level of care offered to service users is amazing. The staff have empathy and go that extra mile for our patients during possibly the most difficult time In there lives. The management support the team well and the training is by far the best and unique to this service. The negative feedbacks are dated, and a shame to tarnish all the hard work we do! Cygnet in my opinion is a great service with the service users being kept in a safe environment, and most importantly the staff do all they can to make each and every person that stays with us, as pleasant as it can be. A+++

This place is and I quote 'cash cows' this is now a rehab centre. Far from it. It is a cash cow farm

This place is and I quote 'cash cows' this is now a rehab centre. Far from it. It is a cash cow farm where your loved ones are kept there to fill beds and line the pockets of the privet health sector. There are no activities on the ward. With regular incidents of violence and patients walking round the corridors due to lack of phycological assistants and OT. There is no therapeutic use to this service just as a holding pens until they have enough for the patient. Then they move them to another one of the Cygnic hospitals The Dr are bias about any for of s17 leave as they will lose their bonuses. If there was a escape. Also about moving patients some on section 3 kept there for over 3 months due to their incompetence and wanting to keep bed filled at £600.00 per patient. This place is worst than a nazi concentration camp..... The staff are discontented as there are not any communication between change over. They are over worked and being asked to take extra work on compromising patience safety and the ward staff.
