I was looking to replace some non standard doors and was surprised how difficult it was to get a joiner to come measure up and then give me a price. However I tried Blacketts after reading online reviews and was very impressed. Paul came quickly to measure up and assured me he could source the style we were looking for. Delighted with the customer service and value for money.

Today was the second time we have used Blacketts in recent times. We are so pleased that a knowledgeable friend recommended this company. To sum up the company in a few words "big enough to cope but small enough to care". If you have had your disappointments in the past with big DIY company's Blacketts could be your company for doors!

Excellent service

We had a a new front door fitted last year - a traditional timber hardwood door as we live in a conservation area. Blacketts came and measured up, quoted and then fitted a new door, frame and fanlight window. We have a non-standard door size (old houses!) but they were able to find exactly what we needed and the fitting was great. It's a beautiful door, and they were able to find all the fittings and fixtures we wanted. We did then have problems caused by the door fabricator - the hardwood infills weren't seasoned correctly, and the Blacketts team came and sorted everything. Great after service - would use again when we're ready to do the back door or internal doors.
