very poor service provided for my Mum who is in her 80's. Nurses not listening to what mum was saying, not acknowledging chronic pain that she is in most of the time, and not providing treatment that was adequate.Mum left with wounds on her legs not being covered and bandages being done very tightly that lead to constriction of her legs. Most unhappy with lack of care and empathy. Think very carefully before you choose to use this service.

Walked in Tuesday PM with sinus pain.Explained I had previously had this problem and antibiotics were needed. Refused to prescribe antibiotics. Given a list of things to buy from pharmacy down stairs..The pain moved into my mouth and ears. Had to go to emergency dentist..now I have infected sinus and gums..why dont you just listen to your patients, they know their own bodies. Now on antibiotics but I could have been treated earlier with less pain..take my advice and walk past the walk in centre.

This evening i took my husband to the Walk in Centre following a phone call to our GP to be told no appointments today...go to the Phoenix.... where he made a call to ensure this would not be a wasted journey......specifically asking that a Dr would be on hand to prescribe should the need be. When we got to the triage was told ...No Dr here to prescribe ....to go to the New Cross Walk in. My husband is on crutches ...but regardless when these questions are asked at the time of the call it would be appreciated that some degree of sound knowledge of what is available can be passed on...we don`t go for the fun of it!.

Took my two year old sister in yesterday with my mom because our doctors was full. Got told the waiting time would be up to 3 hours for a two year old. Ended up calling up our doctors and asked if we could bring her in with my 1 year old brother for his appointment and got told yes. Thank god. Let's just say at our doctors she got diagnosed with conjunctivitis which my brother also has and he also has a chest infection so I'm glad we could get them into the doctors. Walk in centres useless. Also when in the pharmacy getting my prescription we ended up waiting nearly and hour and saw another parents son who was about the same age as my brother steal a toy from the pharmacy.

I visited the phoenix centre today after 3 visits to new cross urgent care through the week. All I can say is brilliant.. yes there is a wait but there a plenty of staff and a constant flow of patients being seen unlike 1 patient every 30minutes or so at new cross. Staff were busy but caring.

Used the walk in service the other night as it was the last chance for medical attention after 111 was more or less a let down. Staff was super friendly, rather quick service and I left satisfied. Nothing to moan about and for sure my choice of assessment service at weekends and when my GP has closed. A big thank you to the staff!

Waiting for two hours, only temperature check, for this 2 hours only a few people been seen. Anybody working here?! Here is cold and chairs are so uncomfortable for this long waiting, will go out with more pain . Don't know how long will wait but Wolverhampton NHS trust is terrible. The nurse was lovely.

5/ 5

The staff provide a professional service especially with such a demand on the service, due to a lack of face to face GP appointments. Due to my evening and weekend appointments, I direct my patients to them, with a request for specific antibiotics, which they are happy to oblige with, over the years. I had a tattoo that became infected and felt extremely guilty for needing to put this on the NHS. I arrived and was asked if I had a mask, i stated I was exempt. The black woman (don't know her name) on the desk said that's fine. Usually I get asked for proof, which we all know is against government policy. This lady handled it exactly how the government instruct. She was nice and polite. The nurse that saw me, was the same, really kind. She told me these things happen and not to feel bad. She prescribed antibiotics, she went above what was expected to reassure me. Great place, nice staff. 5 stars from me x
