Avoid this practice! Receptionists have bad attitude problem. I was with this surgery for over 20 years and they have carried on going downhill over the last 10. Any symptoms, health problems only get treated with a prescription for some pills. Messages for doctors to call you back don't get passed on....depending on the mood the receptionist is in on that day, then they insist they did call you back and call you a liar when you question it.....I had NO MISSED CALLS atall, my phone was on etc. This was the last straw for me so I changed to a different surgery altogether and what a breath of fresh air. Been taken off unnecessary medication and I feel like a human being again......also getting treated like one!

Hello, I have been with this medical practice for a long time now. Doctors are lovely but unfortunately the reception staff is not very great. Reasons: 1) 21/2/2019 8.30am I tried to ask for my wee one (1amd half yr son) appropriate measures for his conjunctivitis. The lady told me that some doc will call me. I waited until 4.30pm and when enquired again the receptionist said his prescription is on reception. I told her why I have not been informed and she said you can collect from reception, bye for now. 2) 22/2/2019, after my appointment with doc (amazing doc) I asked doc if I can get a glass of water of drink as I was dizzy. He said he doesn’t have but on the reception they should be able to provide. I went to the reception and asked her can I please have a glass of water to drink. And her response was we don’t have any water (I could literally see a water tank behind her, but quite possible it did not have water). So I asked her can I get it somewhere else and she replied there is no water to drink in the whole building. I somehow managed to get to my car and had water. Not at all happy with the rudeness of the front facing people of the practice.

I have been a patient with Westburn Medical Group for 26 years. The doctors, some of the nurses and practice manager have helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life and seen me through the other side. I couldn’t thank them enough for all they have done and continue to do in being professional but friendly to myself and my family. Thank you for your continued support, I don’t know if I would still be here without many of you over the years. In particular Dr Emma Wade and Kari Millar

Didn't even want to give the one star. One Dr almost killed me with wrongly given the worst medication for what was wrong. Ended up in hospital for a month. Then found out through other doctor he was saying he saved my life just because while in for that month they found out I had autoimmune disease. Hospital said with all I had been complaining about all these years he should of given me a simple blood test and job done. Now had 3 open wounds for 3 months, not healing yet took 2 months to see a Dr. 3 different courses of antibiotics later, given two of these before a doctor had seen me so prescribed over phone without knowledge of what was wrong. On Tuesday just past told I had to be on penicillin and now sunday and still net recieved the medication. After I get them on monday (hopefully) I will be leaving this surgery after around 20 years. Most of them incompetent. Avoid like the plague as mistakes made lots of times and seem afraid to face the public during this flu pandemic.

Absolutely shocking avoid at all costs. Reception staff were very friendly and couldn’t do more to help you with an issue but the GPs were rude and would jump down your throat. Myself and my mother were verbally abused by one doctor and because we stood up for ourselves and put in a complaint about said doctor we were removed from the practice. They do not care about patients and have no respect for those that have mental health issues.
