I went in today with a letter that needed to arrive by today at the latest. Despite there being a different address on the envelope, the receptionist (whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask for) couldn't have been more helpful and did everything she could to make sure it was passed on to the correct place. If you could pass on my thanks and gratitude to the lady who was on the reception desk at around 2 o'clock today, that would be most appreciated.

My wife had been suffering and, I mean suffering, from a leg ulcer. She was having dressings applied twice weekly at our doctor's surgery with very little advancement until we went to see a lady in the Tissue Viabiliy Department. at The Village in Frederick Street Aberdeen, her name is Patsy Grant. Patsy is a very knowledgeable, caring and thorough, professional. After two years of suffering and seeing no cure on the horizon, my wife and I went to see Patsy and from day one her approach was very reassuring. Within a very few weeks my wife was introduced to a different dressing by Patsy, and just a couple of weeks later the ulcer was very definitely on the mend. Three weeks and there was no broken skin, no rendering wound and far less discomfort. Far superior to the treatment over the past two years at our doctors' surgery. Our opinion of Patsy and her assistant Gillian Anderson is extremely positive. Please pass on our very grateful thanks to The Tissue Viability staff at the village. Lawrence Muirhead.

I had to accompany my 90 year old Dad to the Podiatrist at the Community Health and Care Village today. Dad has had several visits to the Care village over the past few weeks and has been delighted with the service. We both agreed that the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional and that the building is 'state of the art'. I was disappointed that we didn't have time to enjoy a coffee!! Thank you to everyone involved with Dad's care.
