Let Down by poor administration, no cohesion between doctor's secretaries for appointment bookings etc. Customer service on this front is horrible, unprofessional would be the best description. However the medical staff were fantastic and very Professional.

NHS refused me treatment for a life threatening problem. i was forced to go private. I am very pleased with the process at Albyn, all staff were excellent and the outcome was better than expected. The room was a bit dated but i was only in for a couple of days. the follow up consultations every couple of months were part of the initial price. yes it was expensive but very much worth it. I now look forward to the future instead of dreading it.

From the pre-consultation with the surgeon to all the people I met on procedure day the staff were chatty and friendly and very well versed in keeping me at ease. Came out of anaesthesia feeling remarkably spry in comparison to previous "run down by a bus" condition after surgery. It is too early to say what the long term result is but in terms of so far giving five stars was easy.

Really good quality of service in almost every respect this month for my operation and immediate recovery All the staff - surgeon nurses physio auxiliaries and caterers were personable professional knowledgeable encouraging and could not have been more helpful and friendly Facilities are comfortable and very clean, good quality food includes lots of choices The only black mark has to be the appointment administration. Difficult to know who to speak to, changes to schedule at last minute, inconsistent messaging of appointments and all done by snail mail Shame because otherwise the service is first class

Although I was only there for a day, I could not fault any aspect of the care I received. Everyone was so helpful from the catering staff to the Consultant. I was listened to, shown the utmost respect and everything was explained thoroughly. I am now back home after minimal trauma and pain. The procedure was undertaken carefully and skilfully and I am absolutely confident that the follow up care will be just as excellent. Thank you to all concerned.

Hi I was admitted to Albyn today for a procedure with a general anaesthetic. The staff were very profession and attentive. My hero today was Brodie who was a student nurse in his second year. He made feel very relaxed and had a way of making me feel relaxed. I wish this young man every success in his career. 😘

5/ 5

I was fortunate enough to be given Mr Aly as my consultant to discuss next steps after a Sigmoid Volvulus. His explanation of what had occurred and what the operation involved to resolve was excellent. His words enabled a complete understanding of the situation to allow me to make an informed decision. His consultation has truly benefited myself and partner.
