Brilliant Doctors, sometimes it can be hard to secure an appointment but there is always open surgery in the mornings. I have read a few of the reviews and think a few have been written in anger and does not reflect the hard workings envoirnment i have visited. The staff at the desk were more than helpful, and the doctors (the ones that I've seen) were very helpful, patient and went above and beyond to help me. Sometime the doctors surgery and the repeat prescription line but persistence is key, I got through to both within 5 mins.

Been trying for 4 days to order a repeat prescription for my 80 year old father's heart tablets and always getting "lines are busy phone back" Rang the surgery to see if the could assist in helping reorder his medication as he's had no heart tablets for 3 days now. The recepitionist was rude and not prepared to help. Was told to just keep trying the repeat line and be persistent. Which I'm still doing and still not getting through to a repeat line. Even though they quote the lines are not busy. Disgraceful in this day and age. No duty of care what so ever

I have been with this surgery since birth 70 years ago. Whilst staff and location have obviously changed over those years I can honestly say that all clinicians and administrative staff have consistently treated me with courtesy and patience and most importantly have always exercised a duty of care. Given the sheer size of this surgery, and the consequent number of patients, there will of course be times when it may be difficult to make contact, however it has been my experience that staff do their absolute best particularly in these unprecedented times and sometimes it is important to just say " Thank you"

Fell week before Christmas and thought I had sprained wrist. By Christmas Eve morning wrist painful and swollen. Phoned Grosvenor Surgery at 2.30pm, GP rang back and diagnosed possible fracture over the phone. Referred me to Mater Hospital Urgent Care Unit 4.30pm. Seen right away, x-ray and plaster of paris by 5pm. Home 5.30pm. Brilliant service by GP surgery staff and NHS in the midst of a pandemic.

Called from 9am to speak to a doctor, after 55 attempts i got through just after 11 to be told that doctor calls were finished for the morning, to try calling again at 2pm. if this was a just eat review it would end in; do yourself a favor and just dont.

I went to ask if they were taking on new patients, she said they were, after looking me up and down with a smirk on her face. I got the forms but not from the first girl, from another girl that also had a sight problem. No, I don't think I'll be joining your surgery if that's the way I get treated and I'm not even a patient. An audit would be good for them and some staff training.
