Firstly, being treated by the rudest most impatient reception staff starts the experience on a negative. In addition despite my so called doctor being listed as Dr. Green, I have still yet to successfully book an appointment with said doctor to monitor my recovery following my surgery 6 months ago. They are consistently making changes to my prescription without notifying me and fail to return calls. Worst practice I've made the mistake if registering with!

Rudest receptionist in the world awful lady every time I have to deal with her she’s the same if it was a one off I wouldn’t mind . Everybody has a bad day , but to be consistently horrible to patients I can’t understand it in such a people person role I’d sack her for attitude problems , and the Drs other than Dr Green don’t waste ur time . I’m off to Mandalay health centre

4/ 5

I transferred myself from the Egerton and Dunscar Health Centre to the Burnside Surgery some 3 months ago. The transfer was easy due to a very helpful receptionist who suggested I complete the necessary forms in the waiting area. This proved excellent as I was able to correct any mistakes by asking her questions there and then. The first thing that I want to highlight is that wonderfully there is no background music whilst waiting to see the doctor or nurse and this for me is a big plus. It was my perception at the Egerton and Dunscar Health Centre that events leading up to my heart attack some 5 years ago included stress whilst waiting to consult the doctor.I actually felt worse having seen the doctor than when I walked in at the front door. This is no longer a problem at Burnside and I am grateful. Dr Gillooly is my local practitioner and is very patient. He makes me feel confident in his advices and takes great interest in any problems I have. He is great! Lastly I just love the TV screen where you can alert the practice of my arrival simply by typing in my surname and date of birth etc. So easy.

I have to give this one star purely because I'm fed up of being told to ring at 8 in the morning and then no appointments available iv never met my own doctor in fact I don't know who my doctor is, I feel things need to change and reading thru some of these reviews I can understand why these people feel like this as you don't know what mood the receptionist is going to be in bit of compassion and empathy wouldn't go a miss if things don't improve I'm going to have to think about moving doctors to be honest
