Worst possible GP Surgery. After months of being nervous and putting off my cervical screening, finally booked an appointment and went in today. First off, I was ignored by reception staff as they chatted and laughed while I stood there waiting. Eventually when I go in for my appointment with the Nurse Practitioner Nicola, she tells me that she thought I was someone else even though she clearly got my details from when I made the appointment. I know she only said that because I had come in for a cervical screening. She said she couldn't do screenings because (in her own words): "even though I'm a nurse, I am a nurse practitioner and I don't do those". She then walked out of the room, comes back a few mins later to tell me to go to reception and they will "deal with it". Reception staff were also rude and nonchalant with the woman smirking and rolling her eyes. She made it seem like it was my fault for booking an appointment with 'the great nurse practitioner' that was too good to perform cervical screenings. I was so frustrated with the way she was responding to me that I almost cried. At this point obviously other patients waiting in reception knew why I was there which was embarassing. I was so nervous prior to the test (as most women would be) and I had put it off for months. I finally got the courage to go today but was treated so badly. I said I will be making a complaint but she didn't care and told me to take a leaflet because I'm sure she knows that nothing would get done even if patients complain to the Practice Manager. I left there feeling so down and I want to change GPs as soon as possible now. This whole experience has really made me scared to get a cervical screening now even with another practice. I have now made a complaint with NHS England and will also be complaining to the Health Ombudsman as I believe this 'Practice' needs to be investigated.

Very rude receptionist name Stephanie, shouting at patients! not giving appointments for a month. She is acting like she is a doctor and telling me I shouldnt get one when doctor told me to get one. Avoid this surgery for your own good

Worst bunch of people, avoid to join them at any cost.

This practice treats you like you were born yesterday, Absolutely horrendous. Do not register with them, I advise any existing patients to find a new GP immediately. I'm surprised they have not managed to kill someone with their lack of assistance or help.

i feel totally let down by staff ,non caring non help full ,give miss leading info just pop on our site and book phone or txt consult lol 404 error and they would not tell me the webs on to search goolge what a joke ..even my death wouldnt change anything

I have never been the sort of person to publicly write a review until I had to deal with Dr eve Haworth, avoid this woman at all cost, I have been with this GP for over 10 years and i have had no issues what so ever until I spoke to this woman, she is extremely rude, condescending and completely disrespectful and uncivilised and clearly needs more training on how to deal with patients with respect and professionalism. Absolutely disgraceful.

If you arrive 5 min late they don't accept you that's not good. the road in the front of building is closed and may be somebody get late to arrived.

Fantastic service, only ever had one appointment i wasnt happy with, but that was soon resolved. Been with this practice all my life, from Bridge Street to Deansgate and Ashburner Street. Dr. Mckinnon, westerman, wakefield.

Trying to get a appointment is an absolute nightmare. Theyve done nothing but hide behind covid and used it as an excuse to to abamdon their duty of care towards their patients and if you're or repeat prescriptions they will forget to review them and it will have to be pointed out by a pharmacist if you happen to be taking medications that shouldn't be take together.
