This Gp employes (some of them) are non-qualified doctors. Or they've fallen out of love for their job a long time. Some of them forgot about the Hippocratic oath (the main thing is not to harm). I went there today for help, and came out with a round soul. I'm still shocked by the conversation with the doctor (she's female). According to her, my desire to live a couple of weeks ago is normal. The fact that I haven't been sleeping normal for a week, she said it's okay. I am very sorry about today's visit to her. I advise those who are registered there, to give help them own selves.

The best Surgery I have ever known. The staff are courteous and helpful and all the Clinicians treat you as a person and have time for you. They listen to you and explain everything in a clear manner that makes you feel confident and reassured. I would recommend this Surgery to anyone without any reservation. Thank you all for your care. I honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments on here, I for one think all the staff provide a first class service.

This surgery used to be good but now it's getting ridiculous waiting weeks to get a telephone appointment and even longer to actually see a doctor. Oh and when you use the automated repeat prescription system, it does not send the request through. So check before turning up. Shame because doctors like Mr Dixon are really good.

I used to like this Surgery but now agree with what Katie wrote: "The reception staff at this surgery are awful. They way they speak to you is disgusting. It’s like they do everything possible to stop you booking an appointment. Their phone skills are none existent. They are extremely condescending and patronising. I’m not putting up with them anymore, I’m registering at another surgery now, had enough of these awful people!" It's a shame as the actual GP's and community nurses here are excellent when you are actually allowed to see them. Unfortunately, unless you want to share intimate medical details with the 'experts' on reception you won't be allowed to EDIT: In response to the reply below - I did disclose the reason, even though it was confidential, and was refused an appointment as it wasn't 'an emergency'. Aren't the GP's supposed to decide what is urgent and what isn't? It is deeply unpleasant having long-term medical issues dismissed in this way. EDIT#2 - The conversation above was made over the telephone, not face to face. Since I left this review I have TWICE requested my repeat prescription and it has not been issued, despite there never being a problem before. VERY professional. I'm now left without my medication. If I had been allowed to see a doctor I could have just got it then.

I've been with this surgery since I was a baby, I've always had brilliant doctors and nurses who have had empathy and been very understanding. The receptionists could have a warmer welcome, I waited until after 10am to make a none essential appointment as I wasn't sure if it classed as essential (to save appoints appointments for others) and felt that the receptionist was very frosty and abrupt. Otherwise I think this surgery is brilliant and very clean. One nurse squeezed me in for pre travel vaccinations at very short notice and extended her ours to fit me in! I would definitely recommend this surgery.

The worst practise I've ever been to. Receptionist is very rude and made me cry. Was with this practise for a year and can't wait to change it. Booked an emergency appointment with NHS 111, was given a specific time slot, had no call back at all. When called to surgery, the receptionist didn't even wanna listen to me, said that I shouldn't have booked my appointment through NHS 111, because my problem isn't emergency (she didn't even ask what my problem is). Another time, booked an appointment with NHS app for June, no-one called me that day at all, but instead Ive had a call back 2 months late at the random date and time (and doctor was surprised why I wasn't waiting for his call and was busy). Was once told by GP doctor that mental health don't matter and they don't care. Please, if you have a choice, go ANYWHERE, but not here. Avoid at all costs. UPDATE: Instead of talking to patients, they send a text message like "see a pharmacist". I have severe symptoms for weeks and of course Ive seen a pharmacist for 10 times. The pharmacist was actually the person who said that I need to see a doctor asap. But of course they can't know that, because no-one even wants to speak to you.

I really like this surgery. From the moment I joined 3 years ago I've been treat like a human being and not some nut job with mental health problems, of which I very rarely use the gp service for. The doctors are thorough and polite, as are the nurses and health workers. The receptionists are pleasant and helpful, and throw in an excellent pharmacy, you have an ideal situation. Full marks for Moorside surgery
