I don't know what I would do without the sound Advice from my doctor sometimes you can't tell your friends and family the problems that you are facing because you don't want to burden them but having a good GP you can just sit and tell your problems yes I know it's only 10 minutes but if you write a list and say the important things you need to get off your chest it really helps this is a brilliant surgery, very understanding , a very understanding doctor has helped me deal with the bereavement of my mother and my brother I can't say enough positive feedback for my doctor Dr Cox Geoff Smith

Twice now I have booked two online appointments both confirmed. On arriving for my first appointment I saw a notice on the door saying that both Chaddesden and Oakwood surgeries were closed for training.Hoping that I could still make my appointment I decided to go to Borrowash which was also closed. I then rebooked a second appointment which was also confirmed online. Turning up at the surgery I was told that there was no appointment and that there was no doctor available.Instesd I should turn up the following day at 8pm. Firstly I can't understand why no one can inform patents that there appointments are cancelled. Secondly why can't they inform you that you need to see a doctor instead of discovering it online.I very rarely use the doctors and had I not discovered by chance that my results of a recent test were online I would have been none the wiser, how people that don't have online facilities manage is beyond me. Never known such an impersonal service in my life, the only reason I went online was to complain about your poor notification service about being closed.

I have a condition that sometimes needs immediate action, On my behalf an organisation contacted the surgery. I was fitted in with an appointment at Oakwood surgery even though my surgery is main drive. All staff and the lovely Dr Burnett were priceless. I give you all 1000% . but sadly I can only give 100%. Thanx !!!

It's come to that time of year where I need to have a mental health review But ontop if this and other issues I need to talk to my GP about. It all falls apart when you try to phone for an appointment. I phone as soon as the lines open, and after 60 seconds the lines are already full, and I'm kicked off the line and told to call later by an auto mated voice By the time you can get through. All the lines appointments are gone, and you have to repeate the whole song and dance again. I tried E consult, which seems to be the replacement for the online booking system, which now never has appointments This is also just as useless as it's only lists a limited amount of illnesses or issues to talk to them about. I tried the closest symptoms I could while explaining why I needed a face to face appointment. Only to be told again, to phone for an appointment. Trying to get any kind of help here is a battle and only makes my mental health WORSE. Not sure what I'll have to do to be seen, bit all I can do is try again, 8:00 sharp with my finger on the dial button.

Constant issues when trying to book appointments, especially for medication reviews. End up being referred to 111 9/10, who are already overcapacity with more urgent issues. Unable to book telephone appointments for specific times which is completely inconvenient for people who work full time and are unable to have their phone with them whilst working, so can't plan breaks around expected calls. Will be changing GP at the earliest opportunity.

Ring them for an appointment at 8 o'clock and it will get disconnected saying we are very busy call in 30min, when you call them after 30min if you lucky than will get on que, after 35-40min wait call connects and than disconnects straight away. Call again and than you are in que again.... absolute nightmare system. No one wants to listen anything. Good for this kind of practice who always find excuse not to provide proper service. Oh this is all Covid's fault by the way.
