Transferred here after a hospital birth of our second child for assistance with breast feeding after I was unsuccessful with our first child. Staff were so patient and supportive. Truly can't thank them enough. Fully recommend.

I went her for a couple of days after being induced. The help with breastfeeding was invauable. The midwives have years of experiance between they and always on hand to give help no matter what time it is. Its a great service to have on offer and a massive shame that it is underused and not publized enough. Thanks for all your help in making my post natal experiance one to enjoy.

Had the most incredible experience at St Mary's Birth Centre. The team are so kind and caring and all of the midwives are amazing. If you are a low risk woman looking for a natural and positive birth experience, I would highly recommend going here. The rooms and facilities are also great post birth, and the aftercare was unbeatable. Thank you again to the team, you're all amazing!

If you are considering using this birth centre, please do! You wont regret it. Lovely place, the staff are amazing, so kind. My midwife before during and after my daughters birth really went above and beyond in my care. It was such a lovely experience. A clean and calming environment. If I had another I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

I stayed at St Mary's for after care and I cannot sing their praises enough. The midwives were great, supported me as a new mum, showed me how to change a nappy and even looked after me and prescribed me medication. This post is very late, but I'd happily have my next here, if they're still around. Such a relaxed and professional centre. Thank you x

Left the centre a few hours ago and what an absolutely amazing place to give birth. The attention Sylvia and Winnie (midwives) paid to my wife, me and of course our newborn was unprecedented. It's my third child and this was by far the most chilled place and a home from home. Beats being at the hospital. Thanks so much ladies! :)

We were struggling, going through a bad time with breast feeding and other little woes after birthing our beautiful daughter at the General. The staff at St Mary's were so supportive and welcoming, Dads welcome too. I have such warm memories from such a difficult time. Don't get me wrong, St Mary's probably hasn't been refurbished since the 30s and you're very close to the Mums n babys on either side but that's part of the charm and everyone supported everyone else when we were there. My wife breast fed our daughter for 16 plus months but she'd confess that we probably would not have succeeded with breast feeding at all-without the support of staff at St Mary's.
