I had surgery on Thursday! I can’t praise the staff highly enough! They made me feel so reassured! Kept me updated! The nurses were amazing! Very helpful and caring! My Surgeon Mr Offer is a master in his field! He’s worked wonders! I’m so happy with the outcome! Very caring, took time after my surgery to talk to my mum and reassure her all was well! Even though the surgery finished late! The hospital is spotless, friendly, and welcoming! I would highly recommend Mr Offer to anyone, brilliant surgeon, Mr Fox the anaesthetist was amazing to! Highly recommend!

My son had surgery here on Friday. I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone has been completely wonderful. The reception staff, house keepers, nursing staff, ward clerks, kitchen staff, surgeon, theatre staff, physios, admin staff, everyone was so attentive, helpful & friendly. Extra special thanks to Jane, Maricar, Portia & Beth for going that extra mile.

Can not fault this hospital one bit! From the ward staff through to the theatre and recovery team, everybody was so kind and caring and couldn’t do enough for me! Had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan on his last shift before he moves on within Nuffield and what a great loss he will be to this hospital! Jonathan and his team were amazing throughout the night shift making me as comfortable and as painfree as possible! Anybody having an operation here you’re in very good hands!! Thank you all so much :-)

Hospital is lovely, you just have indivual room by yourself and that is good. You have your own TV and the staff are lovely.

Really disappointed with Nuffield. Wanted to book in for a simple smear test. Was told I HAD to have a consultation first which was additional cost. Despite this only being a routine test, it seems that it would cost me nearly £1000.

I have an appointment this week. When making the appointment through general appointments (not directly with Nuffield Leicester) I asked if the consultant was ofay with my condition and it was suggested I ring the secretary. I have tried and tried to get through. Eventually last Thursday eureka. But the secretary was on holiday that day and i was promised she would be told my query and would contact me. Nothing. So I tried and tried today and no one answers. I may have to email to cancel

Unprofessional and unhelpful. I paid £200 for an initial 30 minute appointment. I haven’t received any calls on my next stages and it’s been a few weeks now. I have just received a further invoice after swabs were taken and yet was never told in the appointment how many were taken nor that I would be charged for them. They were not listed as chargeables on the letters I received prior to my appointment and I specified that I could only afford the initial appointment so I’m mortified to now find out I have to pay a further £180. I would have declined the swabs had I known this. The doctor wasn’t very helpful, I didn’t feel listened to at all and they answered a phone call in my appointment which I thought was very unprofessional.

Absolutely faultless service from start to finish. I was in for my wisdom teeth extraction with my consultant Dr Karim Kassam, very professional however not obnoxious and overly ‘doctory’ like many other consultants I have dealt with in the past. I thank him especially as Dr Kassam was able to get my Xray referral and treatment done ASAP, within such a short time after initial consultation even though his surgery dates were looking busy. I will always recommend him and will continue to use Nuffield Hospital whenever I should need so in the future!

I would just like to say huge thank you to my surgeon Mr Mark markcarthy and my amazing nurse kayleigh and student nurse Amy for looking after me all the staff here at Nutfield make you feel so relaxed I had vascular surgery on both legs and with general anaesthetic and came around from it so good thank you once again you really did look after me far and beyond I would highly recommend you patient Mrs dawn Jenkins xx
