Bushmead Medical Centre luton

I have been a patient of Lea Vale Medical Group for over Eight years now. The service they provide (Doctors, Nurses and staff) is always been excellent. Although you may have to wait occasionally.This is more a reflection on the NHS run by the Government, not the group itself. Prim at Bushmead reception is more than helpful and courteous. The call centre team are prompt and reach all expectations. I would like to say thank you to everyone at the Medical Group for their help over the years. Kind Regards Mark Draper

Even the phone number they gave here is not in use... the worst....

Consistently awful, near impossible to get through on the phone, some rude and dismissive doctors and all round miserable experience. Good receptionist though

One of the worst GP surgeries there is when it comes to overall service. 20 mins to make appointments, and even then receptionists will answer and put you on hold. The actual surgery has decided not to link up their I.T with the NHS so everything is the 'Old Fashioned' way of 'Fax' or sending copies. It's an Archaic surgery not fit for the 21st Century.

Horrendous service - how does this medical centre operate? 2 weeks trying to make an appointment and still can't get through......Load of rubbish!!

My wife and children are feeling unwell for a few days now and we called around 20 times and the line is always busy. When finally they answer they say its all booked for today call tomorrow. My wife decided to go to Bushmead Medical Centre and make an appointment, surprise there was only one patient and the receptionist said that she doesn't make appointments. We live locally and my wife watched for an hour as no other patient entered the practice. I will inform local authorities about this as it is absolutely outrageous.

Brought my wife in today for her 2nd covid vaccination. The unit was closed, We had not been informed and an alternative date had not been allocated. There was a steady stream of patients turning up in the same situation. We managed to get a last minute appointment at Boots, but were turned away because Bushmead had not registered the first vaccination in February. Other patients were also at Boots with the same problem. I wonder why this centre gets so many negative reviews
