SunSeeker Doors luton

I bought two extremely expensive slim window doors 3 meters wide each. The doors cannot me moved. When I moved they scratch the plastic railing and it creates steps in the railing that cannot be overcome. The doors are extremely difficult to open because the system does not work. The customer service is the worst in England, delay after delay. I have never seen a worse more expensive product in the whole UK. A total rip off with the worst customer service, delivery service and installation service. Total amateurs, a bubble, worst product in the UK. To be clearly avoided. If you hire them, worst mistake ever!

We have had some low profile windows in our kitchen which were fitted in 2013. From the first year the gaskets warped in the heat and the handle closes at right angles so as to obstruct the view. In fairness I didn’t get round to reporting the gasket issue to sun seeker right away. Last year I contacted them to perform a service and have struggled hugely to get a response. Endless unanswered emails and phone messages. Finally I have received an email from the director of the company saying that the windows are out of warranty and that the manufacturer of the gaskets went bust and that he is looking for alternatives. However, nothing since. Ultimately, I am happy to pay for a service and all I want from this company is some support in resolving the issue but non has been forthcoming.

Used them 10 years ago and doors lasted well. New doors and new system ordered. Really flexible around the builder who has missed numerous deadlines. New slide and open doors fitted - really efficient fitters, excellent polite service and they look superb. Would highly recommend. Likely not to answer the phone, but do respond eventually and respond better to emails, but don't expect immediate response. As long as you know that , then brilliant service. Kevin, Harpenden

Over 1 year now that we had the Ultraslim doors fitted in our new extension. And we still love them just as much as the day they were installed. For us aftercare service has been great (but only needed in first couple of months after installation as our extension + doors bedded down - small adjustments needed). This is the first summer we can really enjoy them - they look great and have a very simple and elegant opening mechanism. Thanks to Tony, Paul and rest of Sunseeker team. Highly recommended.

The doors look great but the service was terrible during installation, I relate to lots of these other reviews - on the day of installation one of the panels "smashed" on the van, just as I can see with some of the other customers, meaning it was finally installed weeks later. The man who installed them didn't seem to know how they worked and couldn't show us how to properly open and close them, our builder showed us as he had worked with them elsewhere. Now, almost 2 years on, the door handle and lock has broken and we cannot secure our house, we have emailed and called but had nothing in response for 5 days. There should be a callout service as the doors are still under warranty but nothing. In hindsight I wish we had read these other bad reviews before we chose sunseeker and avoided this company. Hoping this review may get their attention and we can have these bad quality fixtures fixed.

Whilst the doors look great, they were not installed as advertised or as mentioned. Unfortunately the after service of this company is non existent. Happy to take your money and ignore you. I have tried calling, emailing numerous times as well as submitting new door requests and their new service contact with no luck on anyone responding to me.

The company delayed twice with us, but were still very good in terms of getting the doors in time wise compared to other companies. There's some reviews about no communication, we've had quite a bit of communication/haven't had a problem with it so I don't know whether this was just something which is in the past (hopefully it is). The doors look great / difficult to beat.

I'm reluctant to do this but it seems I'm having the same problems that everyone else is experiencing. I've been trying to get them to come and repair our very expensive slide n pivot doors since 30th July. Phoned and left messages, emailed and no one gets back to you. Finally they sent an invoice for £168 before they'll even come out. We've paid it in advance and I still can't contact anyone. It's going to become a security issue soon and we won't be able to open/ close the door. They are obviously going to ruin their business with all these 1 star reviews! Why do don't you at least give us a time frame for when you'll get back to us? They eventually came a couple of weeks after I paid the invoice. They came at 6pm when they were supposed to come at 9am. The 2 guys were great and did a good job really quickly. It's obviously the admin / office side that needs sorting out!

Updated Review: The door has arrived and is installed. It looks really nice and so far it is working fine (still need to test it for longer). It was a long journey to get to this point, I just hope that nothing else goes wrong. Previous Review: We are still waiting for our door that we started purchasing in May, we've had delays and bad service at every stage (they would stop responding for several weeks). Now we have payed them the complete amount (which they required) and again disapointment, they are not going to install it today like they had confirmed to us yesterday and this morning - of course after us reaching out since they never send us anything if we don't chase it. They are leaving us at a very uncomfortable and unsafe position.
