Trelawny Surgery plymouth

All the staff are polite and courteous and very patient. The nurses there in particular Shelley, Rachel and Freya go beyond their duties and have treated my family and I will the up most respect. Shelley has patiently sat and listened to me during my appointments going on about all the worries I have going on and is very supportive and empathetic. The doctors are all just as supportive and I think most of us forget that they are all under immense strain and stress yet still deal with each patient with respect. I think we often forget that they want the best for us and sometimes the answer is not at the bottom of a medicine bottle or tablets but rather simple things which we ourselves can change. I think over the years every one has become accustomed to getting a prescription every time we go with a minor ailment so now it is expected I admittedly have been the same hence why I can write this review and be honest with the care I have received. In future if you are handed a print out for another service or online app don't fold it up and put it in your pocket and forget about it take the time to read and explore the alternative options being given to you. I feel all surgery staff are under rated and expected to be super human but they are all superstars in their own rights and deserve our respect and patience and for us to remember that we all have bad days and most of us let it show whereas the staff at a doctors surgery cannot hide away till the day passes they have to get up and carry on. Remember to show up for your appointments as a missed appointment could have been used by another patient in dire need or if you can't make it at least phone and make the surgery staff life's a little easier. Thank you for all you do.

Always get good service at this surgery. The practice has seen a few locums since the brilliant Dr Hately's absence but they have been very good. The practice nurses are great as well. It is a clean, well run practice with very efficient receptionists. I rarely have to wait past my appointment time. It can be a pain trying to get an appointment by phone first thing but I guess that applies to most places. Best surgery I have been to

not happy with some of the things at the moment you say you are open until 6 yet u have doctors finishing early. how can a surgery fully operate with no GP it is wrong on so many level especially in the area that you are with loads of children. im really considering changing doctors to be sure i get seen by a doctor not a phone call or a different surgery than my chosen one when u have no transport and an ill child is wrong!!!!!!!

Felt very rushed. Was told as soon as i sat down that each appointment is only eight minutes long. It didn't stop the doctor being late for my appointment by making himself a coffee at the reception area first. He also spent most if the time making notes on the computer rather than actually paying attention to me the patient. I booked my appointment over two weeks ago and that's what i get. I now see why people go A and E.

I wanted to change surgeries for two reasons. One closer to me and secondly was unable to get an appointment. After collecting reg forms and in some pain the staff arranged one the next day. Tralawney surgery has done more for me in one day than my old surgery has in 3 months. Big thumbs up from me. Thank you

Made to feel comfortable and very reliable service I found, plus alot of different areas to choose from...

All the staff I've had contact with at the practice are lovely, however management and appointment waiting times are getting to be a bit of a joke. I've recently had some blood tests and missed a phone call about them, so I now need to wait over a fortnight for a two minute phone conversation with a GP. Meanwhile I've had a phone call from reception telling me I need to book further blood tests without even knowing the reason. Sincerely hope things improve soon.

Never open or let people know what going on rubbish service

I'm normally a nightmare having bloods done, Shelly got me first time an if ever I need them done again, Il ask to see her, Thank you so much

Absolutely brilliant, couldn't have asked for better medical help. With in 24 hours I had a urinal test. Blood test and results returned. And am on antibiotics
