Popped in to buy some plants for the garden. Spent a good hour walking around the garden centre part of the store. Bought a number of plants for the garden. Was served by a more mature lady on the till who was very pleasant and chatted a bit about gardening

Not the best diy outlet to frequent. Not the best range of products, and definitely not the best prices. And the staff, how can they all be so miserable. Miserable as sin. Sorry I asked about having some paint mixed up, and when that was too much trouble for the member of staff involved I decided to pay for the items I already had, and leave. The chap on the till wasn’t any better, the contactless payment system was running a bit slow, which really wasn’t an issue and as I made light banter of the problem his terrible attitude prompted me to drop my purchases and leave the store. Homebase should teach their employees that being cheerful doesn’t cost anyone anything at all.

Staff are friendly, but on our last visit, every item we looked at had no pricing! We had to go to customer service for a price check. Felt like I.should have earned a wage by the end if it! Products we did buy are of good standard though. Free parking, disabled and parent spaces outside too.

Very helpful staff. They checked stock and put things aside for us even though they were not click and collect items. Nice store in easy accessible part of town if coming from afar

It took me longer to find a member of staff to help than it did to find what I wanted. But when I did, he was very helpful. I would go there again, but they need more visible staff

3/ 5

I think the place needs to update alot of their products and re merchandise. I've been shopping here for many years and feel the place has lost a lot of buzz. Its a bit of a ghost town during the weekdays and feel this could still be a good time to gain custom. Needs investing in more staff and a bit of a face-lift on the whole store.
