Rude, condescending, unhelpful receptionists, who will bicker and argue with over insignificant details to get the last word and find it quite amusing that you can't get an appointment for weeks on end when you're unwell or in pain. Doctors not great either, you will need to specifically tell them where to refer you and what for before they do it so make sure you've got your medical degree before becoming a patient here!

If I could give no stars it would be more appropriate. Where do I start? Vulnerable child not put forward for shielding and put at risk due to their abhorrent and incompetent record keeping? 7 year out of date information sent to me "to check" for his medication? No investigation into either of these incidents? Told they had "no record" of severe allergies he has had since weaning (when he is now 13). Told he only has "mild asthma" when he was born 12 weeks early and has a range of potentially dangerous and life threatening lung conditions? The fact their desk staff are uninformed but ignorant so when you ask them regards official things such as the NHS app or vaccines for teens they don't just deny knowledge but actively accuse you of making it up. Want an appointment? Good luck with that because if you won't tell them all the juicy gossip of your ailment you won't get one. Avoid unless you want to be ignored, sidelined and left to worry and have no support. Then there is the GP who you could see her as a woman with a leg hanging off and she'd ask you to take a pregnancy test. As soon as I'm able I will leave this place, I'm surprised they're allowed to operate.

The best GPs in Reading. The doctors take every issue seriously and refer when necessary. Very friendly doctors. Yes, it does take a while to get through at 8am but that's because they are the best and everyone wants their kind support.

Fantastic GP. Ignore all the generic complainer reviews. The phone lines do get extremely busy but thats not the fault of the receptionists its just the rude entitled, patients phoning up demanding this and that. All you have to do is wait patiently then be nice and friendly when you get through and you will receive A* service. No doubt you'll see and hear other patients behaving unacceptably from time to time but I won't knock a star off for that as it can't be helped these days. So much praise for the staff and everything they put up with to provide my healthcare.
