Try and telephone for appointment the line is always busy and after a certain time in morning you can't phone for appointment you should be able to phone for appointment up to 11am They should also have a separate telephone number for repeat prescriptions to releave phone calls from the appointments number and repeat prescription should not be on a Due Date System the Due Date System does not allow people to put in prescriptions early when you have a strip left and the chance for the Pharmacists to get in the Medications in stock because you then after to wait a day for the Pharmacist to get it in stock by then you have completely run out medication, you have to order you repeat prescription on the due date which is bad. I don't use nomad systems of medication 1) my medications are not compatible with it 2) I don't trust the pharmacists I have had two many experiences where I have received different versions of my repeat medications and fell ill and I have had to take it back in my past, which is why I use Boots. The online system most of the features in this once you have logged on you can't book appointments and other features to get to your details you have go to order a prescription which you are not it is a bit of a long way round. They also blame Monday Morning's their reason why you can't get through on Phone to make a appointment and their system of phone in on day of the morning between 8am- 9am to get a appointment with Your GP is Rubbish. You can't always see your own registered Doctor you always see a locum doctor who don't know you well as the usual doctors who are only available the last half of the week. Then you have to tell receptionist why you are wanting to see your doctor that is between the patient and your GP not the receptionist.

I moved practices from Mathews a few months ago as the service was so dire and it had gone into special measures. I have yet to have a bad experience here. Jo on reception is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Dr Savage is 1st class and Dr Agarwal also very good. Yes, phone lines are busy but I usually get through and you can always just go in at 8am to get a same day appointment. Keep up the good work.

Ive had to wait 5 weeks for an appointment (more than once) and go at 6.45am when I really needed to be seen sooner. I can’t even seem to able to get a telephone appointment, even when it’s been urgent now. Unfortunately have lost confidence in accessing help because of these problems. It used to be a great doctors.

With great regret I must say this place has changed for the worse. It's virtually impossible to get hold of them on the phone. I have missed calls from them and can't call them back as they don't seem to want to answer. It was the same story last week. I have spoken to some great doctors at this surgery (been with them 7 years) but what's the point in having them there if nobody can get an appointment anymore?

IF i could give 1/2 a star that would be too generous. I understand that there is alot going on due to covid, but now a Doctors should be seeing people face to face. Over the last month my right foot swelled up like a balloon and became painful and hot, got told it was just water retention. Ended up at an out of hours surgery who said my own GP Misdiagnosed me. Not water retention at all but a chronic foot infection!!! it is a bloody joke! I'm a type 2 diabetic. this should NEVER happen!

My experience at this doctors has been consistently awful for years. Most of the doctors are all locums, I've been there a long time and never had a consistent doctor who I feel comfortable explaining problems to. It's borderline impossible to even get through to reception let alone an appointment. Constantly hung up on, completely uncompassionate and inconsiderate. It's actually quite upsetting and also frustrating that people in the medical community are allowed to have this attitude towards patients.

5/ 5

Had to register at a new surgery after 50 years with Heeley Green, it used to be based on Meersbrook Road many years ago. Not got a bad word to say about the place, all the doctors I've seen throughout the years have been great, receptionists always helpful and always received a phone call at the time I was supposed to. Sorry to leave but no longer in catchment area.
