It is deeply worrying to me that there are surgeries considered worse than this one. In fairness, none of the serious problems are due to the GPS.

I would 0 star this place but I can't put 0.... they tell me to come at a certain time to collect a CD prescription for my son's adhd meds as there always running out in the chemist, bear in mind I have to sign at the doctors for the prescription, to then tell me to wait an extra half hour to be able to sign for it and make my son late for school.... always messing me about and losing prescriptions... god forbid if you need an appointment here !!

I have been attending this surgery ever since I was a little girl and I have had a goof quality experience. However, recently the standards have gone down hill. The manor of the receptionist's when you ring to book an appointment is absolutely disgusting. I have never heard such a rude and hostile tone. They are not welcoming at all and doesnt make me feel I could go to the surgery for anything. The lack of patient confidentiality is outrageous, I had my diagnosis belted out in the waiting room by a the receptionist. I feel as I am a younger member of society I am pushed to one side and not given the same standard of treatment as older patients which in my opinion is unacceptable as no form of discrimination should be tolerated. A family member has the same prescription on a regular basis and has received the wrong prescription every time! I have also gone to every chemist in the area for a prescription only to find that it was rare medication and had to go back to get it changed. Which then took up my hole day. I do not recomend this surgery at all!!!

I have been comming to this surgery for years but i agree that it has gone down hill. They rearrange appointments and mess them up. They no longer do double appointments so if more than one thing wrong with you its weeks before they can fit you back in again. Receptionists well i wont even go there . Its not private. I asked once to speak in private and was just taken slightly away from counter. One doctor/nurse dont know what the other is doin. I could go on but im gettin bored myself now

Well. Where to start? Being given a prescription for my child that would possibly have killed him. Had I not asked a friend (who is a Dr) to check it I dread to think of the consequences. The Dr who filled out the prescription apologised [and insisted that a review would be undertaken and further safety measures put in place to prevent this happening again], but then said a rather flippant 'the chemist staff would have noticed the mistake'. What if, like the Dr who made the mistake, a staff member at the chemist also made a mistake? Waiting for a phone call to be answered at 10.30 took 16 minutes; Waiting in the waiting room 20-30 mins after your appointment time (almost every time). Thankfully I don't need to go that often. However, the nurses, ESP's and Dr's I have seen have been excellent, once you get to see them. On the whole though, the overall system and the very serious mistake made warrant a poor review at this time.
