I have bought two pre hung external door sets from this company, finished & fitted them myself, eventually.... A few years on both doors are working well, have not warped or expanded, very pleased.....

Terrible delivery schedule and customer service, only in Scotland every 3 weeks but then the director decided it wasn't convenient for the van to go past Glasgow this time so I'd have to wait another 3 weeks. I still wanted my order to be fulfilled but the director didn't like getting negative feedback so they cancelled my order and are to refund my money! Like a child chucking their toys out of a pram! After having read other negative reviews I'm sure they will respond to this as if I'm exaggerating as that seems to be their trend, I assure you this is 100% true as to what happened. Response to the reply below from Ricky - I have not mistreated your staff in any way, all I did was email asking why the decision has been made to not deliver this time and if the company feels like 6 weeks is acceptable for delivery these days, I did not swear or be disrespectful in any way, this is just adding to your awful customer service and you think it makes you look good to anyone else reading.

Great selection of doors to be had, helpfull staff, found what I needed,

We ordered our 1930s style doors from here, very happy with them and the price. We initially ordered the wrong doors (entirely our fault for not reading the description). Distinctive happily changed the doors without charging us extra to return the incorrect ones. Will be using them again to order the rest of our doors when our renovation is complete.

After visiting the factory and seeing the doors we selected some white oak doors for our house build. They were shipped to Portugal and installed by the local carpenter and have been much admired for the past 10 years. Very happy with the service we received and the quality of doors we received. Thank you.

This company is outstanding. The initial ordering, delivery etc all went perfectly: the product was great and the price extremely reasonable. Almost a year after delivery a crack appeared in part of the oak frame. This was a manufacturing fault, and can obviously happen with natural materials. What was staggering was how Distinctive Doors dealt with it. They sent someone down from Sheffield to Suffolk within days, apologised, replaced the entire unit (frame, windows and door), and paid for the fitting. I was even able to select a different design as the original one wasn’t quite to my taste. I really can’t praise them highly enough for their friendliness, efficiency and professionalism. It’s so rare to encounter a company like this nowadays. I recommend them unreservedly.

Thought I would leave a review for Distinctive Doors as I found other peoples reviews helpful when choosing this company. I'm giving them 5 stars - the price was great, the quality of the door is fantastic, communications were good and delivery was exactly when they said it would be, highly recommended, great company to deal with.
