Waiting time to see a doctor about 2 months! Rudest receptionists I have every come across ( especially appointments line ) health issues never resolved. Never see your actual GP! And don’t get taken seriously! Needs to be shut down! No duty of care at all! Been here 18 years, surprised I’m not dead yet!

If you want to know how to get a foul review take inspiration here. 1. Be overworked and dead on your feet. 2. Issue a prescription without saying how to take it. 3. Let your patient call 5 plus times over many days asking for the information. 4. Promise every time that someone will get back to the very patient patient. 5. Never call back. Can’t wait till I get really ill, I’ll just walk in with my own spade and start digging a small plot for myself in reception.

I have contacted the surgery 5 different days several times a day in the last 1 and half weeks to try to find out my new medication dosage and the time length I should take it. The medication was prescribed to me by a doctor working at this service after an appointment - but no instruction written on the prescription. Every single day I was promised by the reception staff they will call me back once a doctor informed them about this matter. I didn’t hear from them - no calls any of the days so from today onwards I will make my mind up and try to take my medication 3 times a day. Wish me luck...

I have been with the surgery for 12 years and have always received a very good service from office staff, nurses and doctors. If there is a delay in getting an appointment it is because the demand on the surgery is so high. Have highly recommended it to others and wouldnt want to go anywhere else. Appreciated very much.

Your inefficiency knows no bounds! The surgery is constantly let down by it's administrative procedures. The new appointments system is woefully inadequate: not only are phone hold queues depressingly long, if you are lucky enough to get through there are never any appointments available. Some of us have better things to do than hang on the phone all day - like work for instance. Whatever happened to e-consult? The medical staff however are as kind and caring as ever, if one ever gets to see them. Repeat prescriptions is another area which appears to be failing. For two cycles of my regular medication I have had problems with my request. I need a medication review apparently although how I might go about getting an appointment for that goodness only knows. I have been with this surgery since childhood. What a very sad decline.

I have been a patient at this doctors for many years & are usually pretty good. But now it’s a struggle to even get through to reception to make a call, I’ve had an ear ache for the past 6 weeks or so & I can never get through as always in the queue system so end up hanging up as waiting for over an hour… end up going to the walk in centre & getting seen to very next day. May think about changing practices but I respect that the times have changed & things have been put into place for safety etc but reading other reviews there not very positive either

Moved here unlucky me. Transferred to this area which I was advised would help me access the mental health team. The surgery have ignored me ever since.. rudely turned away saying we are not seeing anybody due to covid 19. Their policy is to close and go home. I have never met my doctor, never been informed how to get an appointment, never had a welcome letter or introductory appointment at the surgery. I cannot get care for my mental illness and the online procedures have failed to work. I even wrote to my MP Royston Smith who is denying any problem ever exists yet won’t enquire for himself. I will probably die due to lack of duty and neglect of the NHS.. An appalling failure of management under a criminally negligent Government.

After receiving a text on 5 Oct from the surgery asking me to make a telephone appointment I spent 45 minutes waiting to be spoken to & after finally getting through I was told to ring back next week as there were none available upto the 15th November. I then tried to arrange a doctors appointment for an outstanding blood test only to be told the same thing. This is a failing surgery which needs to be put into special measures to end the cycle of patient failure.
