I did Media studies here for a year. The resources are fairly good, but it took my tutor 6 months to mark the very first piece of work that I did, every time we’d be working on an assignment he would change the whole thing half way through and after a while it just becomes ridiculous that any of the work is going to get finished, let alone graded. Do yourself a favour and find a different college to attend.

I applied for a apprentiship 2 months ago did all the exams which take upto 2 - 3 hours and then waited a few weeks emailed in to see where my application was and was told they have not heard from the employer yet. It has been that way for well over a month now they are still waiting on a response from the employer which seems to be a lie

Old receptionist with white hair extremely rude and condescending. We arrived on time but the person we were meeting with was running late & didn't tell us about the other entrance, we were at the other side due to GPS directions. We found it 10 mins later & reported to reception at 9.10 for a retail course commencing at 9.30am. She said we were late & the course has already started & when we said we couldn't find the correct entrance she accused us of being in the reception area earlier when it was infact our first time going to the college (hence why we got lost)? We then said we have been asked wait for someone who was on her way and the receptionist then said that person was here (at 9am) and left because YOU were late. That was a complete lie...I asked the person when they arrived..."were you here at 9am?" and she said no, she left the house at 9.20am & did not arrive at college until 9:40am...SO THE RECEPTIONIST IS A COMPLETE LIAR. & when I said the lady was on her way can we wait...she then interrupted me & said "well she might get here in 1 hour & the course has already started" and I then finished my sentence by saying she will be here in 10 mins because I spoke to her on the phone. This woman jumped down my throat every time I spoke and her entire tone was accusatory for no reason whatsoever & seemed like she was looking for a fight. I can't comment on the courses, but this receptionist gives an extremely bad impression of the college based on her attitude.

A brilliant college with excellent facilities. The courses provide so much opportunity both in an academic and professional environment, and the staff and teachers are extremely supportive throughout all stages of learning.

Went for an open day for our son, very impressed with the site, quite modern but not too large. Good feeling about the environment and the head was a lovely lady.

Certain members of staff are really rude and unprofessional, showing no real interest in students and Sharing private information amongst other things. If you’re looking for a functional skills tutor, holly in particular I’d steer clear of.

I study English here. Teachers are most beautiful 😍

Caught a shiny Aron today while at the college. 10/10.
