Weston Coyney Medical Practice stoke-on-trent

Doctor can be unhelpful, seems to be in a rush all the while, where more time would be better. One receptionist is rather blunt. You never know when you are due in to see the doctor as the monitors for this surgery are not working unlike the one next to it. You may miss the shout. However the nurses were excellent.

I swear this surgery gets worse by the day. One of the receptionists acts like she's the queen of the surgery and has power whether you live or die, I could get in touch with the pope easier than I can get intouch with the surgery and I'm not 100% convinced Dr's still work there because you never get to see them. This surgery needs a Christmas miracle!! Nothing else can save it!!

I can't leave a review without adding a star... Which I don't think is deserving... Call them and I am number 4 in the queue, 27 minutes later I'm still number 4.... What is it that the staff are doing? Are they booking holidays and making brews, are the phones manned or are they kept on silent... Terrible

Since going into special measures I have had to go without my medication twice within two months I would not recommend this practice and will be moving.

Been a patient at Weston Coyney practice for a VERY long time now (30+ years) and have never known it to be as bad as its been for the last few years!!! I hardly need to go to the Dr's but every time I do, I have always been made to feel like I'm wasting his time. Its almost like he can't be bothered to talk to you, doesn't really listen to what you have to say... I've had a nightmare the past couple of months trying to get to get either the Dr or Nurse to see me, as I've had an emergency that needed attending to. Every time, I've been told "there's no appointments available". In fact, it took a female Dr (who was genuinely lovely I may add) that doesn't even work there to refer me urgently to the Hospital after speaking to her on a Saturday morning while I was at work! When I rang last week to ask someone for advice about my stitches, as they were bleeding and painful, I was told "there's no one available.. You'll have to go the Haywood or go back to the hospital you had your Operation with" before the receptionist said "bye" and put the phone down on me! That was after waiting in a queue 25 minutes to get through to them! My stitches are due out tomorrow, the surgery messaged me this morning to say that this has been cancelled due to the nurse being off work, and they have no more appointments until another 10 days time, so it's up to ME to ring the Haywood or wherever to get them taken out.. Beyond a joke.. I've finally had enough and will be looking to register at another surgery soon.. Hopefully one where patient care is more of a priority!

The doctors are terrible! It’s surprising how they even managed to qualify as one! Very poor service. I shouldn’t have keep going a&e to get treatment just because my doctors are too stupid and have no time to look into the issue!
