I have been to the Haywood Hospital on several occasions and it has always been easy to park due to the size of the car park. The hospital itself is clean and well maintained. I noticed that people come and go fairly quickly from the walk in centre so they must see quite a lot of people, which is good. The volunteers at the desk just inside the main door will guide you to the department you require. The toilets are clean and cleaned on a regular basis. There is a massive picture on the wall of the main hall you can't miss that is full of interesting information that is definitely worth studying.

I've been first at 7 .20 am in the morning there and I left 10 am. Very long ti.e to wait being the first patient .They introduced a new system with triage and is taking longer that I aspect. And finally when was the time to go for nurse, thet call me to triage nurse and she couldn't prescribe anything ,so waste of time and my son 3 years old ,with strong cough. When they examined my son in his throat , they use a wood teaspoon to check the throat from a dirty spot and she inserted into the mouth to check is he has infection . One very big disappointment.

Not too long to wait for treatment. X-rays done on site, though they are unable to do certain x-rays. Disabled access and disabled parking is free if displaying a Blue Badge. Reasonable parking charges for normal parking. Cafeteria in the outpatients department and lifts to the restaurant which has a good variety of food - sandwiches or hot food.

I had the unfortunate experience to visit the Hospital Tuesday last (10th August) following an accident in my local convenience store, which left me requiring treatment to lacerations to my hand. I was extremely surprised at the number of patients awaiting various treatment and the constant number of patients arriving regularly on a Tuesday, mid afternoon/early evening. Despite a lengthy wait, during which I visited 4 people/departments, I was pleasantly surprised to see the nursing/admin staff maintain a calm, pleasant and caring approach/attitude (and sense of humour) to all... A VERY big thanks to all of the hardworking staff at the Hayward, well done........ A.G.

I went to the Haywood walk-in to discuss severe pain and swelling in my ankles; after a two hour wait I explained that I had received no injury and expressed my concern that this could be an infection only to be told that it "doesn't look bad" and I should just "put my feet up". Bare in mind that I am struggling to walk - this isn't normal. This morning I went to Stoke hospitals Urgent Care Centre where I was told that I had a serious infection that could lead to sepsis. I have now been given a course of antibiotics. I will not be using the Haywoods services again..
